Chapter 10: It'll take time

Hallo fellow Shadam shipers! Here's my most dramatic chapter yet.

Shakira's pov

I couldn't forget what Moni said about Gerard. It's 3 AM and haven't got a single hour of sleep. I was lying beside Adam in our bed. Yes, I said our bed. We faced each other and I stared at him, asleep. Think of what will happen when I tell him. Will he freak out? Or will he have an answer? I don't know.

I stood up from bed to see the sunrise. I sat down on the chair near the big glass window. It was beautiful. It took the thought of Gerard outta my mind. I didn't realize that I wasn't sleepy. The sunrise reminded me of when I first took Milan home. He was in my arms. Asleep. I watched him until the sunrise. I was beside the window and saw the sun rise until his face was full of light. It was perfect. His eyes opened to see me smile lightly at him.

I cried the minute I remembered. I wanted my baby boy back.

Adam's pov

I woke up when the sun rose. I saw Shakira sitting near the window and realized she was crying. I quickly but quietly got up and asked her,

"Babe, why are you crying?"

"It's just......nothing"

"No. You have to tell me or else I will tickle you!" I said cheerfully. She smiled.

"I just miss my baby boy."

"Aww...... Shak, we all know it's hard but we need sometime to face it."

She smiled bigger. "Okay, thanks Adam."

I leaned forward to kiss her and did so. She kissed back.

Shakira's pov

I told Adam. He just told me that it'll take time. I agreed with him. He leaned forward to kiss me and I kissed back. All my troubles rolled down the slope. It was all gone. I can feel the warmth of his breath.

We stopped as he heard my tummy grumble. We both laughed.

"Haha! It be you're hungry!", he said with a grin.

"Yeah I am. Let's eat breakfast!", I replied and jumped out of the chair dragging him with me going down the stairs. Holding hands. Together.
