I finally got to sleep when I was sure that the vampire was gone. I have never slept so badly before in my entire life any time I fell asleep I dreamed about either the dead woman or the vampire chasing me down the street. Each time I would wake up in a pool of sweating, panting and my heart racing. Each time the dreams got realer until I woke up bleeding and howling in pain. The shed door was swinging open and I could see the figure of what seemed to be a vampire fleeing into the distance using the path as a runway.
I gave chase but the vampire was to fast. It launched a dagger in my direction as it fled. The dagger flew past my face slicing some of my hair. I ran to my bag tearing a piece of fabric from one of my t-shirts and tying it around the wound on my arm as a bandage to stop too much blood from escaping my body.
I put on a jumper so I don't raise any suspicion in public it was sunrise now. My eyes searched the sky for any sign of vampires. The coast was clear. I made my way to the town doing my best to draw no attention to my arm. I tried to check my arm frequently as possible to see if the blood had seeped through. It seemed ok.
I got to my town archive where I found out about a mysterious mansion at the north side of town. The people who lived in this mansion were never buried or even announced to be dead either. I found this rather odd. I knew this was exactly where they would be if they were anywhere
I wrote down the address and took a picture of the picture of the house. I left the archive and went shopping for some food and water. I only bought essentials though because I needed the money to last me for as long as possible. I began to make my way to the house. I did as usual and read the names of shops as I past by them. The directions brought me to a part of the town I had never been in before. I then read the address again and realised my company was going to tear this house down for construction.
