I should not have looked

When it hums, do not look towards it

When it laughs, you will not find any amusement

A cry you just heard, it's only to draw you bit by bit

Do not look behind you, do not make any movement

Yes, something is dripping

Yes, you can feel a slight tickling

But if you ever go peeking

Your body will start ripping

Like a fish caught on a hook

You will be struck, stuck and shook

To witness something we only read in horror books

I feel the sensation pin its way around my body

I feel my flesh becoming holey

Or rather,

Ungodly

Yet,

In spite of  what I heard or did not hear

I still could bear

To  look over my shoulder and see what was at my rear
