Chapter 4: Confessions

Bendy's P.O.V.
{Did I just hear what I just heard? Did I hear that right? Cuphead loves me?} I stand there waiting for a reply. "So... c'mon Cup. I need an answer..." I say waiting patiently. "U-Ummm...there's not much to be said after that." He can't even look me in the eyes. "If I heard you right... did you say... you love me?" I ask quietly. "Well... yeah." Cuphead replies. "You're an amazing person, Bendy. I really like you a lot. All this time I thought I hated you. Now... now I realize I was wrong. Now, I can't feel a damn thing except for these butterflies in my stomach and everytime I look into your eyes I'm lost in your soul." I try my best to hold back tears. Imagine how weak and sensitive I'd look if I cried. "Cuphead..." I start. "I know you don't feel the same way about me but I can't say no to you. It's just ripping me apart and I'm so confused." Cuphead says while trying to hold back tears himself and sinking to the ground. "Cuphead I do feel the same way about you. I feel the exact same way about you." I reply, patting his shoulder. He looks up at me. "You do?" I stare into his beautiful ruby-red eyes. "Yeah... I do." I give him a reassuring smile. He smiles back. I help him up off the ground. "Thanks." He says. "No problem. So you can go back to doing what you were gonna do before I collided into y-" Before I know it, his lips are pressed against mine. They feel so warm and soft. I can feel my face heat up a lot. His arms wrap around my waist, deepening the kiss. I feel like I'm in a fairytale....
I suddenly wake up. Looking around, I see that I'm in my room. {Damn. It was just a dream.} I sigh sadly. {Why did I think it actually happened? Then again, it felt so real...} I lay back down and put my blanket over my head. Until, I hear something downstairs. I peek out my blanket and see Cuphead's jacket on the floor. {Wait, what?} Confused, I get up and walk downstairs. Sure enough, Cuphead is at the table drinking some coffee. He looks up at me. "Oh, hey Bends! Good morning." "Yeah good morning... ummm how are you here?" I ask. He can clearly tell that I'm confused. "Oh. Well, yesterday I told you that I liked you and you felt the same way. So, I just... y'know gave you a kiss and you sort of fainted?" I can see his blush as he looks at me. {Shit.} "Oh that? Yeah umm it happens whenever I get nervous or flustered. It doesn't happen all the time. Just a few times..." I explain embarrassed. Cuphead chuckles. "So I see." He gets up and walks over to me. "Shortie~" he kisses me on the forehead and walks away to get dressed. "D-did you just...did you just call me a shortie?!?" I half ask and half shout while blushing furiously. "Of course I did." He winks at me only making me blush even more. "We-We're not even in a relationship so you can't call me any nicknames!" I say to him while sticking out my tongue. "Hmm... you're right." Cuphead says while pondering the thought. "Of course I a-" I get cut off mid-sentence by Cuphead saying, "Wanna be my boyfriend Bends?" "Well of course I... wait what?!?" I wasn't really listening to Cuphead. Cuphead chuckles. "You already agreed!" He says then hugs me. "O-Okay I guess I did." I hug him back. "Welp, gonna go now so love ya shortie~" Cuphead says then gives me a kiss on the lips. "Love you too, Cupperoo~" I say, smirking. He stops walking. "Do... not... call me that ever again." "Only if you agree to not call me shortie ever again!" I say. "Fair enough. Bye!" He waves then walks out the door. I flop down on the couch. My phone rings and I check it only to see I've received a message from an anonymous person.
