(Liam's POV)
My life could have been more better without any drama, but it seems that fate is so unpredictable, that I ended up in the most painful way a person could end up to. Which I didn't expect at all. I'm not that much blessed in terms of mental ability, hence, the reason I rarely get any recognition in the academic sector. I've gone through countless hardships, found ways and techniques in able to survive. Mom, who is working off very late, scarcely produces income to maintain the house, pay the bills, send me to school, and to have our daily typical '3-times-a-day- meal'. But I still admired her determination to keep us alive, which motivated me to continue living on.
My father was a prick. He was a drunkard who beats me up secretly, when mom wasn't around, but not until mom came home early unexpected one day, and saw dad beating me up to a pulp. Let's just say that it led to our situation now
Well, this Monday morning should end up good... Sort of.

"Liam, are you really sure that you agree to this" Mom was debriefing me about her current employment status. A.K.A., her job. She got fired because of some budget cut, thus, resulting to reducing employees. She was the one who were affected.
"I don't have a choice, do I?" I groaned. She gave me a stern look, as if daring me to ignite the conversation further, but I kept my mouth shut.
"Well.. Yes" I knew it, no escaping this job. Her once stoic face lightened up like a Christmas tree. Jeez, I need to stop these metaphors.
"Good! I'm going to talk to Mr. Saunders about your job. Don't panic, because he'll pay well, like he promised. Which is in favor of your approaching graduation. Think of all of the possibilities that can happen! You, finishing your studies, then having a real, professional job, having your wife, having your kids, and my grandchildren" She had my futuristic journey planned out, joy. Not cool.
She had that dreamy, thoughtful look on her face when she said 'grandchildren. I inwardly winced. How can I fulfil her dream if she knows my deepest secret? If I tell her, I just might find myself in a church, rebuked by a priest because of 'exorcism', or worse, getting staked-
Whoa. That was a bit, brutal.
"Mom. We've talked about that, remember?" I sighed defeatedly. She grinned sheepishly.
"Oh, I forgot." I could tell that she's lying by the way that she looks everywhere except at me. She loves to tease me, always. And that's what make our bond strong.
"Finish that up. You still have school." With that, my smile turned to a grimace. Zeus, or whoever you are, smite that dreaded word.

"Hey Liam!" the twins, George and Justin, tackled me in a manly hug. I returned the hug, but pulled away as they sandwiched me in the middle. I glared as I tried to catch oxygen to my brain. That was really a tightly-packed hug.
George, like Justin, almost share the same features. But with some variations. George has a neatly combed sandy-blond hair, while Justin has a 'Californian Quintessential Surfer' sandy-blond hair. Same cheekbone structure, but different eye-color. George has a tint of brownish-hazel eyes while George has a tint of Bluish-Green eyes.
"Dude! You missed football's emergency meeting!" Justin started. Ah, shit. I forgot about that. Spacing out surely is embarassing.
"Coach Lars' face was red as a tomato when you didn't show up. He's like, 'where is Liam? He's the captain of the football team. He should be here!'. That was epic. I was tempted to retort with more like," he changed his voice to a mocked version of mine "I'm not here! Seriously, what crawled up your ass and died?!" Justin grinned wickedly. Well, there goes the comparison within this two. George is more mature, unlike Justin who lives in a 'come-what-may' motto.
"Fine. I'll make it up to him with some extra work. Seesh, you guys didn't need to pull out that 'creepy card' that you've shown." I grudgingly mumbled. So much for having a free Saturday morning.
"C'mon, let's go. Bell's going to ring soon." George invited, while Justin tried to imitate him, which resulted an injured head.
Mature, and brutal.
.-.
"Did you see the look on Pamela's face when I 'accidentally' spilled the juice. That was hilarious!" Justin laughed out loud, his fingers twisting with the 'accidentally' part, which definitely isn't an accident. That was harsh, in my opinion. Pamela, the ex-queen of the campus, was being bullied and picked on by almost all of the students. Before, Pamela was respected and renowned in the whole school, with her reputation as the previous school's 'Queen Bee'. But, at the end of the year, some blonde named Trish ratted out to the whole class how she saw Pamela sucking faces with another girl. And that pretty much escalated everything. Ever since, she had been treated like dirt.
"Justin. That wasn't funny. Even if she is lesbian, you shouldn't treat her like that." George, the mature, and more like of a peacemaker scolded Justin. Meanwhile, I remained stoic, and didn't reply. If that's their reaction to Pamela, then it is 100% possible that they'll do the same to me. That's the theory, in my subconscious.
This only brings painful memories, like with Blake-
No! Stop thinking about him Liam. He isn't worth your thoughts, or your breath. My subconscious mentally scolded. Shaking my head, I kept on walking, with the twins trailing behind. My life will end up only more messed up if I include more guys in my life. Having one was enough, and I don't want to reminisce that painful moment again.
