I should have never gotten on the bus. I should have listened to Cooper. I should be at home today. I wouldnt be in this whore house waiting to be sold to some old creep. If only I had listened to Cooper. Was my family looking for me? Was Cooper worried?

***FLASHBACK***

*Cooper* Want a ride to school?
*Me* Its alright, I planned on taking the bus, plus I don't trust you behind the wheel of a metal death trap (;
*Cooper* I am a great driver Mrs.Kimi
*Me* Yeah right, and I'm the queen of England.
*Cooper* Whatever, if you change your mind, let me know (;
*Me* Will do

I set my phone down on my nightstand and walk towards my bathroom. Luke growls at me as I reach the door, "What is it now?" I look at my reflection and slap a hand over my mouth to keep in my shriek. *Cooper* I'm picking you up, be ready in 5."
*Me* No! I'm taking the bus today, I'll ride with you tomorrow"
*Cooper* You better!"

I begin my journey down the stairs to the kitchen where my mother is making me breakfast. "That smells so good mom." "Thanks sweetie." She says as she kisses my cheek. A loud bang comes from the stair well and my brother is suddenly at the bottom of the stairs. "Are you okay?" I ask as I take a bite of my toast. "Yes! I'm fantastic! You're still riding the bus with me right sissy?" He asks with wide eyes. "Of course little man, I wouldn't let you ride alone on your first day of middle school." I kiss his forehead and grab my bag. "Let's go!" We walk out of the large annoyingly vibrant red door that locks my home, to walk down the long unpaved sidewalk. Little did I know, I wouldn't see that door ever again...
