Sticky Situations

Let me tell you I hate sticky situations and right now I was in one. I had been walking to my apartment in Manhattan with my best friends Kaylee, Emily, Alexia. Then suddenly a scaled creature with large talons and razor sharp teeth came out of nowhere. Emily and Kaylee screamed while Alexia yelled "why in the world is there a Komodo dragon in New York?" Did she not see the huge beast in front of us? Then the monstrous being spat at us. If you ever thought that saliva couldn't be dangerous your wrong. As soon As the saliva touched me,I started to stiffen . I tried to scream but could not. As the saliva thickened it became wall that enclosed around me like my own tomb. I could feel it turning me into what felt like a wooden puppet.The saliva was paralyzing me Then a sword came slicing though the saliva and a hand grabbed mine and pulled me out of the burn pile of goop. When I was completely out I looked up at my Savior, and he said " Hi I'm Percy Jackson."
