Your POV

I think he forgot, its been a few weeks and Cups hasn't called at all, not even Mugs! Have they not settled down on their journey or something?

Though I'm worried about my dearest friends, I have my career to worry about right now, like I promised Cuphead.

You had to move from Inkwell to work at another hospital. I'm working as an apprentice nurse for experience.

Author POV

Your mentor is Miss Feathertin who is very sweet and kind bird toon! She reminds you of Muggy and how social he was with you. You knew he was pretty lonely with Cuphead. He would tell how he didn't have any friends other than his brother, until you came along! He was so happy that he made a friend, but now you wonder how he feels about being away from you for so long.

You sigh in frustration into your bed's pillow, you're really obsessed with those two.

'BEEP BEEP!'

Suddenly you jump in surprise when you hear your alarm clock blare into your ears. You reach over and press snooze.

"Another sleepless night." You mutter to yourself, sliding off your bed to get ready for work.

When you finished your regular routine you slip on your nurse uniform and left your new apartment.

Before you head to work you need your morning coffee of course! You head into the now familiar restaurant, you've been here plenty of times now for regular customers to recognize you. You've befriended about all the regular customers, even Mickey and his crew!

When you entered you were almost instantly greeted by 420 bunny kids gathering around you.

"Miss Y/N!" They all smiled, which you gladly returned back. "Good morning!" You giggle, picking up a few of the kids in your arms. They laugh as they play with your large ears.

You walk over to where you see Oswald and Mickey and the kids follow behind you. "Morning Oswald, morning Mickey!" You smiled as the bunny kids tug on your ears.

"Good morning Y/N!" Micky greets you with his famous smile while Oswald only gives you a nod before scribbling onto his board, "Sorry about the kids."

You shake your head. "Oh no no, it's fine! They're all such sweet angels!" You laugh, before ordering your usual from Max.

"You're heading off to work again Y/N?" Mickey asks with a worried tone, being the sweet worrywart he is.

"Yep, it's going great too! I'll be a nurse in no time!" You beam at just talking about your new job.

Mickey gives you a small smile, his expression not really changing. "You've been working for days straight! You should have a day to relax!"

"...You think so?" You hummed. Micky nodded his face full of determination. "Yeah, you should come to the show later!"

"Yeah!" All the bunny kids agreed, while Oswald tried to get some of the kids off your ears. "Hmm...guess it wouldn't hurt!" You shrug, which Micky and the kids cheered.

Max then hands you your coffee. You gladly take your order and get ready to go, removing the clingy bunnies off you. "Alright, I'll see you guys later!" You tell Oswald and Mickey. "And I'll see you cuties there too!" You smile at the bunny kids, petting them as they give out purrs.

You sigh tiredly as you head to your job, excited about the show later.
