Her golden hair falls down, cascading just below her shoulders. Her sapphire eyes dazzled in the moonlight, peircing the gloomy mood with small portals of happiness. As the waves crashed on the boulders under the cliff they stood on, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in tight.
"You know, I never dreamed this would happen," he sighed.
"No one did."
He kissed her lightly on the lips. She looked him in the eyes, expressing nothing but pain. She asked if he would miss her if she were gone.
"Most definately! Why would you say such a thing?" he erupted.
"I no longer have a desire to laugh, to love, or to live."
He hung his head, not knowing what to say. Holding her tight, he tried not to think about how hard it would be to live without her, the love of his life.
