Jimin woke up to a pair of soft hands shaking him gently.

He rubbed his eyes, and mumbled a short "five more minutes". But the shaking didn't stop.

"No, Jimine," Yoongi's soft voice spoke.

"Get up."

Although Jimin couldn't see the older, due to his eyes being closed, he could hear the smile in his voice. He decided that seeing Yoongi smile was worth waking up over.

He opened his eyes, and was immediately met by a bright gummy smile, and a pair of soft, loving eyes.

Jimin always loved the sight of Min Yoongi.

"What are you so happy about?" Jimin asked, his voice raspy from sleeping. He blinked the sleep out of his eyes, and sat up. Yoongi sat next to him.

"I-It's your birthday today."

Yoongi's voice was soft, and low. It was only then Jimin noticed the cake sitting in Yoongi's lap. His eyes widened and then formed into crescent moons. His smile stretched from ear to ear.

Yoongi noticed the big grin, and held the cake up in front of Jimin, still smiling.

"It's for you," he said, nodding at the cake.

"Make a wish, pabo."

Jimin loved this morning already.

He filled his lungs with air, and softly blew out the lights. He made a wish - a secret one. And although it was tempting to tell Yoongi, Jimin knew that if he told, it wouldn't come true. And there was nothing else in his life he wanted to come true than that wish. He smiled at Yoongi.

"What'd you wish for?" Yoongi asked, and put the cake down on the nightstand.

"Can't tell you. If I do, it won't come true," Jimin snickered, and took the knife Yoongi gave him. He cut a piece of the cake, giving it to Yoongi, who reluctantly accepted it.

"At least tell me it's not murder," Yoongi joked, and even though it wasn't actually funny, Jimin laughed. He cut his piece of cake, still giggling.

"Don't worry," he said, and picked up a fork.

"It's not murder."

The cake was really good. It tasted like vanilla and strawberry, Jimin's favorite tastes. He wondered if Yoongi had baked this himself, or if he had made someone else do it. Maybe Jin? He's a skillful baker, Jimin thought.

"Thish," he said with his mouth full of cake.

"Ish sho good."

"I know," Yoongi answered, although his piece looked untouched. Jimin frowned, and put more cake in his mouth. It wasn't like Yoongi to not eat - especially when it came to desserts.

"Hey, Jimin-ah, I-I have something f-for you,"  Yoongi stuttered, seeming nervous. If he tried to hide it, he wasn't doing a very good job. Jimin politely put his plate down, and licked the icing from the cake off his lips. He noticed Yoongi's stare when he did so.

"What is it?" Jimin asked, excited. Yoongi blinked rapidly, and made a few indistinguishable noises.
Jimin wondered what Yoongi could've got him. A necklace? A bracelet? Perhaps a watch? Jimin had always wanted a watch.

He watched in anticipation as Yoongi slowly reached behind his back, pulling something out of his pocket. Jimin swallowed thickly, his skin pricking with happy nerves.

In Yoongi's pale hand was a small, velvet box. Just like the ones you use to have the engagement ring in when you propose. Jimin bit his lip in excitement.
