Cleo pov
Today is day 1 of my plan .. Teo goes and gets the kids around 12pm but before he does I sneak out and go to Athena house . I sneak into Sophia room and give her a shot in her arm so that she doesn't feel anything about to do.. I punch her arms and legs till it leaves bruises then I do the same to Logan .. I slip out and head towards the house

I woke up did my hygiene and went to go get my kids Cleo drives to come with . I banged on the door for like 10 mins and I decided to pick the lock . I guess Athena was tired so she didn't get them ready . I went into Sophia room and I turned on the light ... my heart broke my baby girl had six bruises going up and down her arm..
Me: What the fuck!!!!!!!!!
I screamed so loud Athena woke up and ran into the room with Cleo

Me: What is wrong with you
Athena : come on Mateo do you really think I did this .......
I went into Logan's room and checked him.. he had the same
I pulled out my phone and called DCFS
Athena :*crying* please Mateo don't thins ... I didn't do it I swear ..
As she was pleading with me the police took her away . I packed all their clothes and stuff and moved them into my house .
2 weeks later
I'm in court while Athena is getting sentenced
Athena : Sir I swear I didn't do
Judge : We have given Athena a lie detector and she failed .. I sentence you to two years with no parole...
Me and Cleo walked out the court with the kids and went home
Logan :*crying* Daddy I miss mommy ... when is she coming home
Me: I don't buddy but I don't want her to hurt you or your sister again ..
Logan: what do you mean ....
Me: she hurt you and Sophia bad

Cleo: it's okay Logan . You're tired just go to bed ..

Teo goes upstairs and I pull out my phone and call Ayo
Ayo: hey baby
Me: Athena is in jail
Ayo: Ehat oh shit let's go we gotta bail her out ..
Me: No ... she was abusing .. the kids

When she said that .. I knew she was lying ... no way in hell Athena would do that .. she almost chocked me to death cause I almost dropped Logan .
Me: Y- You sure ...
Cleo: Yeah .... Logan Had To testify and say he saw her ...
Me: That's crazy ... I- I'm gonna go to bed now .

As soon as she hung up the phone I called key and Liyah

Me: I need y'all help .. Cleo just told me Athena is in jail for beating the kids .. but I don't think she did it ... I think cleo set her up

10 mins later
Thy were downstairs and I opened the door ..
Me: I got Cleo to send me the pictures of the kids bruises ... now listen to this... the report says 2 year old Logan has seized bruises 3 in his back and 3 on his legs ... 7 month old Sophia had 2 bruises . One on her leg One on her arm ..
Them : I don't get it

Me: *pull out phone* now look at this . Logan sleeps on his right side with one arm over . He has been since he was a baby . This photo over there looks drug induced .. how is that Athena's report says she left Logan laying down like that but in this one he's laying all awkward .....

I woke and got the kids ready . Today I was taking a family trip with Cleo too . We were going to Disneyland .

We headed towards Athena house now . When we get there . I lift the rock up for the late key.. it wasn't there
Me: who ever done it took the key.. that's how they got in the house ..
The door was already unlocked so we just walked in . I went straight to the computer to try and access the feed ....
