There was only Darkness, she could only see the solemn-less atmosphere as she walked towards the one speck of light that she soon found out was a tiny hole. She peeped through that hole which made her stand in shock. It was a very familiar room, a room in which she remembered as a little child.
A melody was playing, it was very familiar, it was a melody she hummed as a child, it was very blissful, it would bring the feeling of joy.
The melody also matched the room, the soul remembered the times she was running across the living room. The living room that had its nice warmth radiating all around, its smell of fresh flowers lingered as the welcoming feeling disseminated through that very room. She remembered the time her mother would watch dramas while she sat down on the floor ignoring the 'unintentional' speaking; as she had thought to say. She just played with her toys and played with her brother; Jin, the gentle and caring brother he is, she admired him, his terrible jokes, the way he warmly hugged her after she had injured herself one time. She had remembered those times where her father would come from work and sit down on the couch almost as hungry as a bear after hibernating for a few months, he'd also make funny comments that made all of them laugh. She'd remember the food that tasted as sweet as honey, and soon melted with warmth in her mouth.
But that all shattered, right in front of her merry eyes, right in front of her. One by one, little by little, everything started to disappear, her brother, her mother and her father, all disappeared. The room's warmth and gentle touch, turned to dust and the light that had shone through the transparent windows dimmed, the curtains replicating the violent wind, the windows shattering to the ground along side with the plates, the sealing crumbling.
The tears that was formed by the little portrait of the girl, dropped like a stormy days that was to be mixed with tornadoes. All that one tiny being could do, was shout for her lost family, all she could call out for was them, she just didn't know what to do. What could she had done?
Nothing.
That was the answer, nothing.
All the loop of endless memories looped through her head as she remembered the car crash, it happened like it was a click of a finger. The little one was traumatized at the sight of blood, she was sitting next to her brother hugging him, while she was staring at the state of her mother and father, they both had blood seeping through their bodies. Jin's eyes were wide open, he couldn't believe his six year old mind, it was as if he had seen a ghost. While reality hit Jin, he teared up, those tears that would never seep down his for even one day, had finally flowed out of him so easily, the five year old couldn't believe to see his brother crying, nor did she believe the fact that her parents were dead, she didn't want to believe any of this had happened, but in reality she knew it happened, she knew that this was all happening. but she could not take the truth, she just denied. She clutched onto Jin's hand as she was shaking the two lifeless souls that was in front of her. But then everything started to disappear again.
It was like a record player replaying the scenes over and over again, it was like it was spinning so fast, it was losing control.
Everything was vanishing. She tried to stop it, she held onto her brother's hand as tight as she could, but it was inevitable. She looked at the now to be ground. She saw lifeless tiles, she could still feel warmth in her hand though, she looked up hoping it was her brother.
But it wasn't, it was a woman, a cold woman, she didn't look friendly at all, she just had that dullness in her eyes that she hated. She just wanted her parents and brother back.
She heard a faint voice it was Jin's voice calling out for her. "Katsumi!" She tried running towards the echoing sound, but the hand stopped her "let go of me!" she said, "I said let go!" She screamed, there was no use, there was no point.
It was pointless.
Rusty metal bars were surrounding her as she had finally pushed through the woman, but it was too late, the last metal bar was placed right in front of the escape route. Katsumi tried to bang the bars down, but soon she lost all hope, as she bled cold tears from her lifeless face.
"Katsu-"
