"Your eighteen you can go alone," my mother said as I packed my bags to go camping.
"But Mom," I protested.
"It's for the best honey," My Mom said as I walked out of the room with my bags. It was a sunny autumn day in the middle of October in Oregon and I was going to Elliot State Forest for the weekend but little did I know I wasn't going to be alone. I got in my car and drove a half an hour to the state forest and started to walk to the river. It was quite a long walk it said it was a mile away and when I got there I saw a beautiful waterfall and a small spot to put my bags.

"This won't be that bad," I murmured. I heard a crunch of leaves but didn't think of it as anything. As I started to put up my tent I took in all the nature. When I was done I walked towards the waterfall and was immediately hit by a clean, crisp mist. I grabbed a cup and filled it up from the waterfall. I knew I should have cleaned it but I was thirsty and needed some ice cold water. I took a sip and it was as refreshing as going to a pool on a hot day. I went inside my tent to rest and unpack my bags, when I heard a crunching sound again. This time I looked outside my tent to only see the fiery orange and red forest. " If someone's here say something," I said hoping the crunches weren't my being paranoid.
"Hello," a voice said from below...
