A new freshman Steven Erickson came to school for a new start after his grandfather died in a stroke; he lives with his widowed mother and his 5 siblings, his father in a military war since Steven was 14 years old, and he was the oldest brother to his 5 siblings. He has blue eyes, he is Nigerian-American, he has black hair.
Steven meets the other freshman student named Chuck Redwood. Chuck has sepia-green eyes, he wears glasses, he is half-Indian and half-African American, and he has brown hair.
"Hello, I'm Chuck Redwood. The smartest kid on Earth. What's your name?" said Chuck. "I'm Steven, Steven Erickson." said Steven. "Well, nice to meet you, Steven." said Chuck. "You, too." said Steven.
"How was your day?" said Chuck. "It was good so far, how's yours?" said Steven. "Mine's fine. Welcome to my school." said Chuck. "Thanks, I was nervous when I got inside." said Steven. "Don't be nervous, I'll be your new friend. There's nothing to worry about, okay?" said Chuck. "OK." Said Steven.
There was a shy girl named Noelle Austin-Redwood, who is also a freshman and is Chuck's paternal half-sister. She has the same eye color like Chuck's, she is also half-Indian and half-African American, she has a late different mother, and she has long black-brown hair. She looks at Steven with a shy look, as Steven stares at her.
He waves at her and she waves back before she goes inside the media center.
"Who is that girl?" said Steven. "Oh, that's Noelle. She's my paternal half-sister." said Chuck. "Wait, she's your half sister?" said Steven. "Yeah, me and her had the same father together. We had different Indian mothers. My mom and our dad used the paternity test, along with me and Noelle. When the results came, her dad was my real, biological dad. It was last year when the paternity results came, me & Noelle seen each other for the first time. Her mother died of a stroke, so our dad and Noelle moved in with me and my mom. Our parents married, my mom became her step-mother." said Chuck. "Oh, my. Your half sister looks very shy." said Steven. "I know, she might be nervous about going to school or whether she was worried that she might get picked on, I'm not sure." said Chuck.
"She looks innocent, but beautiful." said Steven. "Aw, you think?" said Chuck. "Yeah." said Steven.
The bell rung.
"What was that?" said Steven. "That's a school bell, we should head to class. Come on, follow me." said Chuck. "OK." Said Steven.
Steven follows Chuck to class.
