Tiffany woke up hearing her alarm and tried to reach for her phone while still under the blanket. When her hand couldn’t find the phone in the nightstand, she pulled the covers down to get a better look.
“Seriously, I’m gonna throw this thing out.” Taeyeon said, frowning at the noisy phone.
She tried to open her eyes completely to comprehend the current situation. She chuckled at the look of Taeyeon’s face, now understanding what the ranting was all about.
My best friend, how I wish I could always wake up like this.
“One thousand five hundred twenty seven times… thirty nine plus… eighty one… ” Taeyeon gave up calculating in her head and held up her other hand to her ear. “Sunny, I’ll call you in a minute.”
She saw Taeyeon hang up and fiddled with the phone. “One thousand five hundred… times… plus… eighty one.” she muttered while looking back and forth from her phone to Tiffany’s phone to verify if she’s typing in the correct numbers. “Aha! There.” Grinning victoriously as she typed the answer in Tiffany’s phone effectively stopping the alarm.
She couldn’t help but smile at that.
“Really!? Every morning?” Taeyeon shook her head, and handed over the phone.
She giggled as she took her phone. “Well you could have just left it for me to solve.”
“Excuse me? That phone had been ringing for five minutes and you’re still not waking up. I was talking to Sunny and that phone of yours is as loud as the owner.” Taeyeon countered.
“Yah! I’m not that loud!” She yelled, sitting up and frowned.
“You were just now actually.” Taeyeon chuckled.
She blushed and changed the subject. “What are you doing so early anyway?” And now she also noticed that Taeyeon already took a bath and was dressed with casual clothes.
“Well first, I’m not as lazy as you. Second, I wake up early unlike you. And third, it’s a workday today so it’s a given to get up early.”
