Pidge woke up to a wild Lance litterlly only 15 inches away from her face. On her bed.
"GAH!" Startled, Pidge jumped, hitting her head on Lance's. "Ow!" They both cried out. Lance stuttered "S-Sorry, I was bored, and I kinda was waiting for you to get up...I didn't mean to scare you." Pidge picked up her glasses. "You didn't scare me, just startled me." The green and blue beans got off the bed and yawned. Lance was the first to speak. "Well, uh, good morning." Pidge looked at the time. 11:00. "Morning, Lance."
"Well, uh, are you hungry? I can make you something if you like..." Lance said. "S-Sure. Just, like, nothing too fancy." She giggled. Lance nodded and started making a sandwhich. He had eaten eariler, anyways. "What do normally do on a Saturday, Pidge?" Lance asked. Pidge looked up. "Well, I just go to the bakery." Lance wasn't suprised.
When they were young, all Pidge wanted to go to on a good Saturday was with her friends. Pidge layed down on her bed."Y-Your sandwhich is ready." Pidge got up. "Oh, thank you." She took the sandwhich from Lance. It had ham, mayonaise, and cheese. Sure, it was small, but when Pidge took a bite, she lit up. The taste was indescribable. "Uh, do you like it?" Lance asked. Pidge smiled at him. "It's delicious. You really did train to be a chief with H-" She stopped. She loooked at Lance, who was suprised. Both had one word on their mind:
Sh*t.
Pidge coughed. "...Katie?" Lance asked. "Uh..." She looked down. Lance smiled. "I kinda thought for a bit it was you! Why didn't you tell me it was you?" Pidge looked up at him. She shrugged. They both knew the REAL reason, though. "Uh, I gotta go," She opens the door. "Bye, Lance!" And left like a lighting bolt.
