I have mates? Yeah Right!

Chapter 1: First Day of School

        Dancing around my room listening Stop Drop + Roll by Dan and Shay getting ready for school. As that song ended, another one came on; I grabbed my blue matching undergarments and grabbed my ripped up dark washed blue skinny jeans and put them all on, then I grabbed my dark purple cami-tank top and put on my long sleeve Mickey Mouse red shirt on. I grabbed my new brown boots putting them on, my glasses and white jean jacket and iPhone, along with my backpack running down the stairs of my new house, out the door and waited at the end of the drive way for the bus.

     Hi I bet you are wondering who I am right, well my name is Alexandrea Miller, I am 16, I am 4’10” and I love reading books and listening to my country music.  I just moved here with my family, which consists of my parents, my older brother Donnie who is 17, me who is 16, and the twins, Derek and Allison who are 14 years old. We moved here to North Carolina from North Dakota, yes it is a HUGE change, but my dad got a new job down here and we were ready to live in warmer weather, me for sure!

     “Ready for school, kiddo” said Donnie who was standing with me and with the twins at the end of the drive way waiting for the bus “sure big bro, you ready for your last year of High School?” I asked Donnie as the bus was finally getting near our house. “Sure am Alexie” Alexie is my nickname that Donnie gave me when we were little.

     Once the bus was stopped at our house, I was the last one getting on. I was starting to get nervous about being a new kid and having to leave all my friends back in North Dakota, but I was glad that no one knows my story here. I sit down in a seat, pulling my headphones out and started listening to country music. I knew today was going to be interesting, I can see it now, everyone whispers about and wondering about who the new kids are: “I wonder who the new kids are”, “I heard the girls are hot”, and “I can’t wait to tap that”.

  As we arrived at the school, everyone got up and waited to get off the bus, I followed suit until I got off the bus and waiting for Donnie and the twins to get off the bus; once they got off, I could see that the three of the already made friends and are blending in pretty well. I sighed and followed them inside to the office to get our schedules.

     “Hey have a good day and don’t get into any trouble” Donnie said as we parted ways. I was walking and looking for my lockers not paying any attention where I was going, I walked into someone and we both fell on the group “oh I’m sorry! I wasn’t looking where I was going” I looked up to see who I was saying sorry to, it was a girl, she had long black hair, beautiful skin, and she had black glasses on. We both stood up and I held out her stuff for her

  “Oh, it’s okay, I wasn’t looking either, hey are you new here? My name is Cassie” she held her hand out for me to shake, I took her hand and shook it “yeah I’m new here, my name is Alexandrea, but call me Alex” I said smiling. “Here, let me see your schedule” she said, I gave her my schedule and looked around the hall way, hearing the bell going off and the hall way was now empty.

“Awesome” she said and smiled at me “we have all but two classes together, we don’t have English or Math together” she said to me and started walking, I followed her “your locker is riggggggghhhhtttt here!” I laughed and shook my head and tried my combination and got my locker open on the first try, “lucky! It took me at least 10 times to open my locker on the first day” she huffed I laughed “hey beginners luck?! I have a feeling you and I will be great friends Cassie” She nodded in agreement.

    After I had my locker all set up, we went to U.S History together (we had passes). She opened the door and I followed her inside the class room and went up to the teacher, Mr. Klimber and gave him our passes “alright class, this is our new student, Alex, treat her with respect please. Cassie, Alex you may go sit down now.” We nodded and I followed Cassie it her seat and sat next to her.
