« ... and have a nice day!».

Namjoon greeted the last customer of the day and sighed in relief, flopping down on the lonely stool that had been placed behind the counter almost one year earlier and that nobody had ever even tried to move - "If you get tired, sit down and rest" had said his father, but little did he know, that damn thing would make you feel worse if only you'd use it for longer than 2 mins.

The kid let his gaze wander across the room, looking for anything that would need to be cleaned up or put back on its shelf after having been moved by some annoying teen too lazy to put it back to its place; everything was fine anyway, and the shop was completely empty now, allowing his ears to enjoy the well-deserved silence: no more crying kids, no more yelling parents, no more weird nerds asking for video games he had never even heard of ...

Just silen-.

«Oh, please, tell me it's not closing time yet!».

«Actually, it i-» he began, but he cut himself off as soon as he looked up from the computer behind the counter and realized who did that voice belong to - a super cute, pouty guy was staring at him from the opposite side of the room, his fists clenched in frustration along his sides.

Namjoon immediately recognised him.

«Seokjin, am I right?» the kid wondered, though he didn't actually need the other's nod to know his name since he had already recognized him from the daily visits that he had been doing to the shop for months now - plus, he was really pretty.

Like, really, really pretty.

Like, maybe even handsome.

And like, maybe Namjoon had had his eyes on him since the first time he had met him.

Truth was, he had developed a huge crush on him and had been long waiting for his chance to talk to him a bit longer than 3 secs.

The guy nodded, scratching his head.

«C'mon in. What do you need?».

Seokjin stepped inside with wide eyes and his hands hidden in the muff of his yellow-pastel hoodie: «Thank you ... Namjoon, right? Thanks. I'll be quick, I swear. I just need ... I need one of those.» he explained, pointing his index towards a shelf behind the counter, a bit higher than Namjoon's hands could reach.

The 16-year-old winked, causing the eldest to blush softly and smile shyly: «'Kay. Just a sec.».

He got on his tiptoe, reaching out to grab the yellow box -the one with "Super Mario" written on in a fancy font- while watching the guest out with the corner of his eye; the thing was, he knew Seokjin would have come and since his teenager mind was trying to impress him, he might have moved that particular stand on that shelf on purpose - what was the point in having a toned body if you couldn't even use it to attract cute guys?

He smirked proudly as he noticed that the boy was actually checking him out and he mentally high-fived himself for wearing a tank-top short enough to expose his toned stomach as he reached for the shelf.

«Here. Pick the one you want.» Namjoon advised, pushing the yellow box across the counter and towards the other.

«Oh, you can't even imagine how bad I'd love to pick exactly the one I want.» Seokjin sighed, as he let his gaze wander over the smaller, plastic boxes in the stand.

Namjoon gave him a confused look and the eldest continued: «This collection is composed of 33 "Super Mario" action figures. I already have 32 but of course now I can't find the only one I nee-hey, it's not funny!» he yelped, as he realized that Namjoon was looking at him with an amused smile.
