It had been awhile since Tord had been around... The whole gang wondered what was going on with him, and how he was doing. Yet, what they didn't know was that Tord was going to be coming back. They also didn't know that it was going to change for the better.

Especially for Tom...

It all started on a normal day for the gang. Edd was hanging out with Tom and Matt until suddenly, there was a knock on the front door. Edd looked at the other two with a confused look, and they just shrugged and looked confused themselves. Edd then stood up and went to the door, opening it, only to find... Tord! Edd's eyes immediately lit up at the sight of his old friend, "Tord! You're back!" Tord wasn't even able to respond before he was hugged. He then just chuckled, sort of uneasy with the touch, but didn't do anything, "Hello, Edd... It's nice seeing you and the gang again." Tom looked pretty upset that Tord was back, "Well, if it isn't Commie." Tord looked over Edd's shoulder to see Tom, a look of disgust on his face. Tord then rolled his eyes, "Hello, Jehova. I was expecting that you wouldn't be excited about my return." Tom acted as if he didn't hear Tord and just turned around and went to the kitchen. Perhaps to get a bottle of Smirnoff, by any chance.

Matt then looked at Tord, sort of confused. He didn't seem to remember Tord at all. Tord's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as Matt just stared at him, trying to figure it all out. Matt then went to speak, but he didn't. He couldn't remember, yet he didn't want to admit that... So he just went ahead and left himself, going up to his room. Maybe to distract himself with his so-called "beauty".

Edd just sighed and looked at Tord, soon letting go of him, "Well, go ahead and make yourself at home, Tord. I'm going to grab myself some Cola."

Tord nodded and started walking around the house he was too familiar with. It brought back a lot of memories... He soon sighed, sitting down on the couch, not too soon joined by a drunken Tom, who didn't seem to have noticed Tord's presence until Tord chuckled. He had remembered the times where Tom did those silly, stupid things when he was drunk. He even once complimented Matt and Matt went totally hyper over all the nice things that were being said.

Tom soon turned over to look at Tord, his face flushed in a deep shade of red. Tord looked at him in confusion. If Tord could be honest, he'd say that he'd been really confused today. Especially since he had just returned, too. There was a reason behind it, but it was mostly a secret. Tom just smirked a bit before returning his gaze to the T.V., soon turning it on.

Tord was even more confused than he was before. He knew Tom was drunk, but wouldn't he usually do something weirder than that? Tord stayed silent, even though he was confused. Soon enough though, Tom did say something to Tord, "Y'know Commie, I wonder why you even bothered to come back. Life hasn't really been any better, even with you gone." Tord was sort of shocked to hear that come out of Tom's mouth. And Tom looked sober now. It was pretty obvious that he would be though. It had been a long time of silence before Tom had spoken to him. Tord soon replied, "Well, that's your opinion. I mean, I bet the others might disagree." Tom shrugged, "It was actually better with you around. I had someone to get my anger out with. That doesn't really happen anymore, which makes me sadder than not..." Tord was shocked yet again. Better with him? Was Tom insane?! Tord then just shrugged it off, "Well, I'm sorry about that, I guess..." He responded, getting a glance from Tom. Tord sort of shivered. He knew that glare meant that Tom wasn't so sure about what someone was saying, which made Tord uncomfortable.

Tom then just sighed, focusing his glance back to the T.V. once more. They sat in silence for awhile before Tom began talking again, "Commie... You should know that I actually missed your company... I mean... It wasn't as much fun without you. We did have our good times, didn't we?" Tord then nodded, even though he was pretty much shocked with what Tom was saying. Edd then secretly looked at the two of them from the kitchen doorway, smiling.

Tom smiled and looked at Tord, "Tord... Uh... I want to say something else to you, too..." Tord looked at Tom, sort of scared, yet not really... Tom then spoke again, "The fighting wasn't because I hated you, Tord... I did really enjoy our company and I wish I could've told you sooner... I don't hate you at all... I actually like you... Not as a comrade, not as a pal, neither as a friend... Hell, it's more than that..." Tord began blushing. He went to say something, but Tom said something first, "Tord... The truth is... I loved you... And I still do... I missed you a lot... I'm actually really glad that you're back..." Tord didn't know what to do, or what to say... His heart was thumping against his chest really harshly, though... He felt the same way about Tom, yet didn't know how to express it...

Tom just sort of chuckled nervously. "Damn..." Tord thought, "Why does he have to be so cute? Especially at this moment...?" Tord then felt himself against Tom's body in a warm embrace. He liked it there... Tom looked sort of shocked at first, but he then hugged him back, smiling warmly.

Edd had taken out his phone and was recording. He was also stifling chuckles.

Tord soon had adapted to Tom's touch, soon putting a hand on Tom's cheek to see how he would respond. Tom blushed at first, yet he chuckled. Tord smiled and chuckled too, soon moving upwards... And then it happened... It was a full-blown kiss. Right then and there...

Matt had come down the stairs and saw the two of them kissing. He looked a little disturbed, but he was also glad for them... In a way...

Meanwhile, Edd was blushing and trying hard not to squeal.
