A Showcase Loss

Skylar's POV

Another showcase today!!! I'm so excited!! " Calm down Sky!" Serena said. " Awww I can't help it!" I told her. " We're here." Kin said. I ran in and registered. Serena did after I did. " I know that you'll ace this Sky." Ash told me. " Will Skylar, Zoey, and Serena come on up." Monsieur Pierre said. I ran over to Ash and kissed him. " Gotta go! Cya soon Ash!" I said while dragging Serena. I left Eve with Ash.

Time skip to Skylar's turn

I walked out of the thingy with Kin dressed up. We got to the end of the runway and Kin tripped over her ribbon. The beads fell off and the outfit was ruined. I got down on my knees and hugged her. ' We lost... I just know it.' I cried in my head. I was completely heartbroken. Not because I knew I lost... but because I failed Kin and Eve.

" And the winner of this Pokemon Showcase is... Serena!" Monsieur Pierre said " Thank you all for coming.". Serena walked off stage with Kin because I didn't want Kin to see me have a breakdown. When I knew they was gone, I started to cry. " WHAAAAAA! I-I-I... I'M A FAILURE!! I-I-I FAILED KIN AND EVE!!!" I cried " I never should've even came this time...". Little did I know... someone was watching.
