I got out of my bed in my one bedroom and bathroom apartment in Harlem New York
I did my hygeains and put my makeup on and grabbed my scrubs putting them on
I got a apple from my counter grabbing my purse and keys to my 2015 white Dodge charger being a young nurse work out good for me
I headed to New York hospital
"Hey girl" my close friend Candis said She was the only person that talked to me when I came from Nigeria to hear 4 years ago "Hey it's been busy" I asked clocking in
"No quiet shockingly" we both shared a laugh untill the ambulance squad came rushing in
"WE HAVE A 24 YEAR OLD BLACK MALE SHOT 5 TIMES" they yelled me and Candis rushed by the side to check on him
He was breathing at all once we got to the room we plugged up the shocker
"1 2 3" WE SHOCKED HIM HE STILL WASNT BREATHING WE TRIED 2 MORE TIME
"LAST TIME GUYS THEN WERE GOING TO HAVE TO CALL IT" the doctors said "1 2 3" we shock him one more time even though I didn't know this man I wouldn't want to see anybody die that was the hardest part about this job
After we shocked him for the last time we started getting his heart rate up

"Alright good work everyone let's get him checked on the machine and I'll talk to his famliy members
"Ohh Lord look at him he's fine as hell" I laughed as I put the IV in him "Hush girl you would be the one to say something to a man that almost lost his life" "Girl plz " I couldnt lie he was fine he had waves and he was so tall his feet was off the bed
