Chapter 1

"this is ridiculous storm, she's lost it. all she keeps talking about is how much she wants her mate. the goofy child doesn't even know who her mate is. what are we gonna do with her?" Rhayne asks a little irritatedly. i look over to her and just shake my head.

"she'll be fine. she's just impatient is all. but you need to calm down before you shift and get that fluid crap all over our new furniture." summer says then rolls her eyes and goes back to her book like she's bored. i continue to watch my tv show. they have been having this conversation since Autumn went upstairs to the Attic.

'thump, thump, BOOM' we all look up to the attick.

"Autumn what the hell are you doin up there?" i ask the youngest of my three sisters.

"oh umm nothing, nothing at all everything is just peachy." she get's quiet then we hear. " oh fudge moneys that's not good. hit the deck people." then we hear a loud BANG. we all run up the stairs and stop dead in the door way of the Attic at what we see.

our sister is standing in the middle of the attick with every item we had in there blown all over. the only thing in tact was her, the alter standing next to her and the bowl she had sitting on top of it that had smoke rolling out of it. she looks up at us and smiles the sweetest smile she can manage.

"oopsie, i think i added to much sage" i look at the bowl then back at my sister.

"what kind of spell were you trying to do exactly?" even though my gut was already screaming the answer i needed her to say it.

"just a little one. it's really not a big deal i swear." she looked down to her toes like she was being shy but we all knew she was trying to come up with a spell we wouldn't strangle her over.

"what spell Autumn??" Rhayne practically growled. boy if she didn't calm down she would shift and rip her favorite shirt. now that'd be funny.

"just a little protection spell on my car. i was driving home earlier and a guy almost ran me off the road so i figured i'd put a protection spell on it so i don't get hurt. smart huh." she smiles then looks up at the three of us. i raise an eye brow.

"are you telling the truth autum? we don't need more problems and you know this." i ask. she nods.

"alright. well did you finish the spell? or do you need help to do so?" i ask. something in my gut is telling me she's lying but i figure i'll wait it out to see what happens.

"nope all done. thanx though. better get going or i'll be late for first period." she rushes out yelling see ya later over her shoulder.

" are either of you buying that load of bull that she just feed us? cuz that's not sage i smell. that's lavender, lilac and vanilla plus a couple other things i can't pinpoint but i'm positive they don't go into a protection spell." summer says, i can tell she's kinda worried.

"yeah i don't believe her either storm. you know what she did don't you? you also know that if that spell worked we are so gonna have to go buy bullets because we made a pact not to use our magic for bad not our guns." i roll my eyes.

"yes i know Rhayne i remember the pact. unfortunately i think your right. so you head out and get some bullets while me and summer put extra ward on the house to keep the horny little wolves that are going to show up at bay."

"what if one of them are truly her mate though? we can't keep him from her storm that would be wrong on so many levels. not to mention that would come back to bite us in the ass." summer says.

"yes i know. the wards won't hold against mates. just strays who are looking for a good time and a bullet. now come on let's get this done and over with before Autumn get's out of school." with that we all head out to do what we have to do.

let me introduce myself and my sisters. my name is Storm McAdam's i have three sisters Rhayne, summer and Autumn. i'm 21 and the oldest. our mother was very busy since there's only a year between each of us. except for Autumn she's only 17. we all have the same father but some how we all look nothing alike. except in height were all 5'5. for instance, i have long black hair and hazel eyes with a dark complexion. Rhayne has brown hair and brown eyes with a caramel complexion, summer kind of like her name has blond hair and blue eyes and a tan complexion, Autumn has red hair and green eyes with a pale complexion . see we all look very different. but we are all the same. half witch half werewolf, and thanx to my sister little spell were about to have a whole lot of problems. but enough about us. back to our story.

Ryder's POV

"Ryder, hey man wake up." my second yells in my ear. i growl at him in warning. which of course he ignores.

"dude wake up. do you feel that?" at the tone of his voice my curiosity get's the better of me so i open one eye to look at him. he's practically bouncing around. i raise an eyebrow at him. god he's so weird.

"what is wrong with you? do i need to have you put to sleep dude?" as i sit up i start to feel funny. i'm not sure how to explain it. it's like my whole body is at the wrong place. i look up at marcus. who nods his head in understanding. ok so i'm not the only one who feels this.

"what is that? and when did it start?" i say my voice laced with irritation.

"i don't know dude but when i woke up i felt like this is not where i'm supposed to be. i'm not sure where i'm supposed to be. but i'm sure this ain't it. ya know what i mean?" normally that answer would be no. half the time he didn't make since. but he's my second because he's got my back no matter what and he has a habit of making me laugh.

"yeah i kinda do. anyone else feelilng like this?"

"yeah. get this. all the un-mated males are actin like this." well considering the only mated male is my best friend that's not much of a surprise.

"ok so tell them to pack up what they need and load up the bikes. were going for a ride. i'm not sure what this is. but we are so going to find out" Marcus nods and leaves my tent. i get up and get dressed then walk outside to see all my male wolves walkin around like they don't know what there doing. until Marcus announces were leaving then they all have a purpose again. what the hell is going on?

"what the hell is going on?" Alric, alpha of his pack and my best friend comes towards me asking. i shake my head and try to explain to the best of my knowledge.

"i don't know alrick. i got woke up to this. then when i woke up my entire body feels like i'm being pulled somewhere but i have no idea where. so me and my pack are going to find out. you and your mate and your pack will be safe here till we figure this out." alric lifted a brow.

"you do realize i'm alpha of my pack right ?" he says with a smile on his face.

"yes Alric i do. i also realize that so am i and at this time we are sharing that responsibility. so stay here or go on your way that's your choice. me and mine are leaving here today." i nodded my head as a goodbye he returned the gesture.

"be careful ." Alric says

"when am i not" i smile back. which has us both laughing.
