Chapter 7

"What do you do when life gets you down?..Just keep swimmin' just keep swimmin'" Autumn sang as we went in the house.

"Autumn you know i love you darlin' but if you don't quit singing that song i'm going to bind your mouth shut." i say with a sweet smile on my face.

"ok i have a question then" she says with a smile

boy i don't like that smile "alright who gave her sugar?" everyone started looking around finding everything else interesting. i rolled my eyes and walked in the house. i knew if i didn't say something to Autumn she would follow me to my room and i just wanted to go to bed.

"ok what's your question?" i ask heading up the stairs.

"if we fed chickens nothing but marsh mellows would they lay peeps?" she asks with a serious face. i stop in my tracks and i couldn't help the smile that spread across my face.

"gawd you are soooo weird kid." i say laughing as i head to my room i notice Mr Ryder is following me. mental eye roll. i hear Autumn shout up the stairs.

"I'm crazy, weird, fun, cool, funny, insane, and sometimes normal ... ummm BAHAHAHA!! who am i kidding I'm not normal" i almost trip because i start laughing then strong hands grab my arms and straighten me. i turn and look in his eyes and i'm instantly lost. all of a sudden i'm in my room on my bed with my clothes being ripped to shreds and his clothes not fairing to well either. he reaches down to take off my boot and i startle him by shouting "if you damage the boots you will soooo be in the dog house." his head snapped up to look at me and i bust out laughing. "sorry but i love my shoes." he shakes his head and removes my shoes carefully and painfully slow. then he's back above me smiling down at me. i reach up and smooth back a piece of hair and he leaned down and started kissing me. next thing i know we are panting and sweating and doing a whole lot of moaning on both our parts. when it was over i snuggled into his side and fell asleep. 

i was asleep for what felt like minutes but apparently was a couple hours since it was 1 in the morning. i sit up trying to figure out what woke me up. i don't hear anything and my mate is laying next to me so he hadn't moved. well then what the hell woke me up? i shrug and go to lay back down when i hear it. a crunching noise like someones walking on broken glass. what the hell. i move to get out of bed but Ryder grabs my arm and stops me. he puts his finger to his lip and slowly get's out of bed. i follow behind him after i pick up my knife and my browning. as we make our way down the hall my sisters doors open as well and they were creepin out behind there mates. i saw them and had a memory of a cat getting in the house and us doing almost exactly what we were right now but Summer decided to yell "hello" which had the three of us swatting at Summer. i smile again thinking of the memory.

" ya know I hate it when people in horror movies call out "hello" what do they expect the killer to be in the kitchen and shout out,"Hey what's up" just sayin." i glance over at Summer who is glowering at me and i have to put my hand over my mouth to keep from laughing. i hear the snickers coming from my sisters and my smile get's bigger. in my head i hear.

'you do know your going to have to explain that to me later right?' i giggle and nod at Ryder.

we all try to walk as quietly as possible but it's a old house so there's a few creeks here and there.  at the bottom of the stairs we all stop to listen. everything is quite for a minute as i open my mouth to say we are all nutz i hear what sounds like glass crunching and boards squeaking. i look at the group and mouth wtf? they all shrug so we continue to walk towards the kitchen. i glance over at the sofa in the living room and notice a coat sitting there that i don't recognize i point to it and everyone shakes there heads indicating it's not there's. a shiver runs down my spine. 

as we get to the door leading to the kitchen i hear something that sounds vagily familiar but it's one of those your brain trying to protect you situations because nothing and i mean nothing could have prepared me for what we saw when i swung open the door. 

i opened the door and we all just froze. i could feel my eyes burning from what i was seeing but like i said my loving brain was trying very hard to protect me so as i turn to not look at it any more Autumn has to go and mess up my peace.

"OH MY FUDGING GOD WHAT ARE THEY DOING???????" i close my eyes as my mother and father gasp in surprise and hide behind the island in the middle of our kitchen.

"i think i'm gonna be sick." Summer says.

"my eyes oh my god my eyes are melting make it go away." Rhayne says as she pushes Marcus in front of her.

"you two are so going to sterilize my kitchen. you know that right. i mean ewwwwwwww. yup i think i'm gonna join summer in the puke parade." i say. i turn around to leave and head back up stairs. i go to the bathroom and splash water on my face and try to calm my stomach. getting into the medicine cabinet i grab a thing of tums. i close the mirror and froze when i saw Blondie standing behind me. i opened my mouth to scream and he put a towel over my face it smelled really bad. i fought him for a minute then it was lights out and the tums bottle fell from my hands. damn.........
