I've never understood the point of having a crush on someone. Like you start liking someone with the impeding doom of knowing they don't like you back. What's the point of that? It may seem stupid, but it does hurt when you try to ask them out and they completely reject you. We don't need that hurt, but you're stuck with it forever.
