chapter 14

ROXIES POV

It was the first time in three days that I hadn't woke up next to jack and I was devastated. God, I missed him. I sat up and looked at lauren sleeping next to me. I was so lucky to have a friend like her. I swear we're the same person. We both don't care about what others think about us, we both loved shopping and we loved to party.

She woke up and stretched rolling over on top of me and then laughing.

"gettttt offff me" I groaned

"only if you make waffles" she smiled

"fine, now get off me" I said as I pushed her off.

We got out of the bed and walked down stairs to find a note from my mom.

Went to the gym and then going out to lunch with the girls. have a good day! xoxo -mom

I made lauren and I both waffles and cut up some fruit. We sat .down at the bar and started to eat.

"wow we sure did have a kick ass start to the summer" Lauren said looking at me smiling.

"I can tell this summer is going to be amazing. We gotta find you a man though" I laughed

"amen, sista!"

"hey let's go to the beach and tan today" I suggested getting up putting the dishes away. Living on the beach was amazing.

"you know I'm always up for that!" lauren said heading back up the stairs.

JACKS POV

I woke up at Sam's house, with one hell of a headache. Both the boys were asleep in various places all around the room. I checked my phone and went on twitter seeing that Roxie had posted a picture of us. I hope the fans didn't say anything rude to her.

I got up off the couch and went and woke Sam and jack up.

"get up assholes I'm hungry" I yelled

they rolled over and just groaned.

"c'mon if you get up I'll pay for breakfast"

this got them up quick. and before you know if we were all three in the car on the way to McDonalds.

"hey my mom just text me and said our families planned a lake day today, to get some 'family time' in." jack said still looking at his phone.

"yeah ok sounds good" Sam said from the back seat.

I wish Roxie was going to the lake with me today. I should see what she was up to. Well it was kind of early, I'll text her at lunch.

ROXIES POV

Lauren and I put on our swimsuits and headed down to the beach. We laid our towels down on the chairs and I put my headphones in. Beach days were my favorite.

As I was laying there I decided to text jack

whatcha up to babe??

He responded rather quickly

going to the lake with my family:))

ohhh sounds fun! I'm at the beach with laur

I wish I was with you:(

we'll be together soon.

With that I drifted off to sleep with the warm sun hitting my skin.
