Storms gathered overhead on the sun-setted land in the subtle way they do. You never normally notice them gather strength until you look up. This storm however was one that wouldn't take kindly to being ignored. The way this tempest thundered can only be described as a ginnungagab.

Well, the old marten of The Evergreen said so anyway. Nowadays its a well-known fact that he is an old crackpot. A pot that cracked ages ago really. He was right though, this storm wouldn't go unnoticed. Whilst the prattle of the outstretching storm from the richness of martens amongst the braided roots of pine none of them did bother looking up at the cloudburst. Out of all the ways you can describe a storm with cloudburst is by far the best for this  equation. The clouds had rounded and now split open revealing the surreal darkness behind.
