The worst about moving is unpacking, and being in a space that smells odd. "Vixen you need to start unpacking your room!" Mum yells as I stand inside the house at the front door. "I don't want to," I mumble admitting. "Ha! I do have the biggest room!" Noah announces and Violet growls crossing her arms over her chest. "That's bull!" She yells and Dad sighs, annoyed with both of them. "Both of you stop bickering and unpack your rooms," Dad warns and they groan, going to do as they're told. "Vixen?" Mum asks as she appears in front of me, and I'm standing there not wanting to move. "I can't Mum, I really can't," I admit and she sighs pulling me in for a hug, tears welling up in my eyes. "I know it's hard Vixen, but you have to, we have no choice but to live here now," Mum admits, pulling back and locks eyes with me. "What about school?" I ask and I see her shiver, before answering me. "We have to enroll you in a human school," Mum states and I freeze. A human school? A school where I'd be the werewolf. A school where I'd have to hide my identity. "Vixen are you listening?" Mum asks and I push her away from me. "I just need space, I'm sorry," I admit as I rush out the front door hearing her yell my name. I don't stop, I keep running, branches scratching my arms and legs up, but I don't care. Eventually I run out into the road and instantly get hit by a car. I get thrown and drop to the asphalt, a few bones broken, my face scraped up. "What the fuck!?" I hear a guy yell right as four people get out of the car and surround me, seeing if I'm dead. "Cage? What the hell did you do!?" One freaks out and he groans. "Oh my god I just fucking killed a girl!" Cage yells and another dude tries calming him. "No you didn't, she's still breathing!" Another one announces after checking my pulse, and I groan. "Alex we need to get her up," One says and Alex sighs. "Of course I have to help you Ronan," Alex groans as he and Ronan lift me up, I whimper in pain from the few broken bones that haven't healed yet. "Jake get the medical kit," Cage says as he starts snapping his fingers in my face. "Hey are you awake?" Ronan asks and I groan slapping away Cage's hand, and his annoying snapping fingers. "Yes I'm awake you asshole, now stop snapping your fingers in my face," I sigh pushing my hair out of my face, my eyes shimmer from bright blue to dark blue. Instantly they back away looking at me weirdly, like they had just seen a ghost. "Did you see her eyes?" Alex asks and Ronan nods his head. Cages eyes are wide. "My eyes?" I ask when I sit there confused until I finally figure out my eyes changed color. I turn away from them, trying to calm myself down, so my eyes will change back. "You could help Vera!" I growl and she laughs, just watching me struggle. "You're on your own," Vera admits and I groan. After a couple minutes I get myself under control, and my eyes change back to their original bright blue color. I turn back and they're all still staring at me, confused. "What?" I ask and they look to each other before one of them answers. "Your eyes changed color?" Cage asks and I chuckle, slowly but surely standing up. "They do that, it's normal," I admit, but leaving the part out they only do that when I'm either angry or out of control. "Are you okay, I thought I killed you?" Cage asks I nod stretching, making sure everything healed into place. "Yeah, I'm okay. Sorry I came out of nowhere, I just moved here with my family and our house is in the woods," I admit nervously and they all chuckle. "So your new here in Brooksville then?" Ronan asks and I nod slightly smiling. "The name is Vixen, and I've already caught all of your names," I admit. "Figures, these guys blurt out our names whenever something bad happens," Jake shrugs and I laugh. "We should probably head home," Vera states, and I stop laughing feeling my phone blow up with messages from Mum. "You good?" Alex asks and I nod. "Just my Mum blowing up my phone," I roll my eyes after silencing it. "You want to come hang with us for a couple hours then?" Ronan asks and I smirk. "Sure, I needed out of that house anyways," I agree as we all get into the car and head to the destination. "Just so you know, our house is located in the woods too," Cage says turning into a hidden long driveway up to a beautiful house.

"Woah, that's amazing," I gasp as the car gets parked and I step out seeing how huge it is. "A couple of others live here too, so hopefully they won't give you problems," Jake says as we head in, the inside much larger than the outside. "This is crazy! I'm surprised this is so well hidden up here," I admit when I accidently run into a girl and she glares at me "Watch where you're going," She warns before walking off into the other room. "That's Lilith, she doesn't take too well to guests," Ronan says and I shrug not caring. "You hungry?" Alex asks and I shake my head no, after looking at all the paintings on the wall. "We really should be getting back Vixen," Vera suggests, and I sigh in annoyance. "I needed time away from there, I'm not going back until I'm ready," I growl and Vera shuts herself out, pissed at what I had to say. "Who's the new chic?" A guy comes into the kitchen and locks eyes with me. "Haze, this is Vixen," Cage introduces us he nods, and I shiver. Something about him is off, and I don't like it. I better keep an eye on him, he seems really off. "See you around Vixen," Haze waves as he takes his leave and heads outside. "Let's go eat!" Cage says as we sit down at the dining room table as Ronan serves food he was just cooking. Still thinking I don't like the way Haze was, I need to keep close watch around him, he gives me weird shivers.
