AN: This is my first story. Don't judge too harshly please. Thank you to my four readers. I hope to get more soon. Thank you for reading ^·^
Let's make this quick. I'm not too good at introductions. My name is Andy Mason. I'm 17, openly gay, popular, and I have that emo look. I have long black shaggy hair, snake bites, and paler than most. My friends are pretty much cool about me being gay. More than likely because they know I'll beat some ass if they dare say anything. They've all witnessed that first hand. Well, I do believe I'm done here.

I'm laying on my bed blaring Suicide Silence through ear buds. My mom is at work, like always. I lay there for an hour or so before I actually drift off into dream land.
Running. Out of breath. *low deep growling comes from behind me* Keep moving. It's close. I feel a warm, sticky, breath on the back of my neck. My hairs are standing up on end. I know I need to get away. This isn't the first time I've had this nightmare. "Andy!" I stop in my tracks. The voice sounds so familiar. "Andy!!" I spin around searching for the root of the sound.
My eyes shoot open. I see my mother standing in my doorway. I felt a sense of relief wash over me. So I wasn't being chased by a large man eating beast.. My dreams get pretty intense. They're usually worse.
"We gotta pack and move out by Sunday. Your Aunt Mary moved out and will let us stay at her old place for free. The boxes are in the back."
I reluctantly stand up. I so don't want to do this.
I walk out to the back and grab two or three boxes. When I climb the stairs to my room, I just start throwing random stuff into them. I realize I need to call my friends and inform them. Hell, I'll tell them at school tomorrow.
I'm sitting on the couch eating Chinese take-out with mom. The only noise we have is the TV in the background. I decided to break the silence.
"Hey mom."
"Yes Andy?"
"Where are we moving to?" I've never really had a close relationship with any of my family members. Especially Aunt Mary. I had no clue where she lived.
"Georgia. Athens Georgia."
"Oh. Okay." Great.. Hillbilly Hell. What a lot of this is gonna be.
My alarm screeches at me. I look over and it's 7:00. I roll out of bed with quite a struggle. Yesterday really wore me out with all the rushed packing. Today is Tuesday. We have five days to get out.
I open up my closet, only to find it empty. Oh yeah. I packed all this.. I begin to rummage through a bag of my clothes. I find some black ripped skinny jeans and a white polo. I also find my black beanie. It doesn't take me long to get dressed. I run my hands through my hair and apply eyeliner. I grab my lunch and I'm out the door.
It takes me 10 minutes to get to school walking. That leaves me 20 minutes to spare. I find my usual spot at one of the benches outside and wait for my friends to get here.
Travis arrives first. He takes his seat across from me. I tell him about me moving away. He doesn't seem too upset. That's good. I suck at goodbyes.
Katy and David get here next. Travis fills them in so I don't have to listen to Katy's bombing of questions.
Hannah comes in and Charlie pulls in next. Katy runs to Hannah, practically tackling her, and tells her everything. Charlie overheard so we didn't have to inform him of much.
Seth got here last with Jeremy. They already heard from Hannah. With these two girls it wouldn't take long for the whole school to know.
___________
All throughout the day I get bombarded with questions, hugs, and goodbyes. I was reluctant to leave my reputation behind. That and my friends are what I find most valuable to me. The teachers are even sending me farewell cards.
It didn't take long for the rest of the week to go by. I had no spare time to spend with my friends, as it was all taken up by packing. With it being just me and my mother, it took a great deal of time.
On Friday we rented a UHaul. It took most of friday to get all our stuff into the van. We don't have that much. On Saturday morning we set out to Georgia. This was a 16 hour drive. I fell asleep the second we hit the road.
