This is specifically for a trimberly fic or oneshot but it can be altered as you wish!
The concept is Trini being in a relationship with Rita. Rita is emotionally abusive and eventually physically abusive. The reason Trini's with Rita could be bc she's in love with Kimberly but doesn't think Kim likes her in that way, obviously she's wrong. However, Trini and Rita's relationship could also be due to Trini's dark past or family issues and how she thinks she deserves the abuse. Kimberly is who Trini always runs to when her relationship with Rita is at a bad point. Then the scene from the movie where Rita throws Trini against the wall can happen leading to their breakup and Trini going to Kimberly for support and to cry to. Kimberly confesses her feelings, they fall in love and so on and so forth.
I know there are some similar to this but specifically I want it as a trimberly thing
