Professor Venomous x Reader (OK KO Let's be Heros)

THREE: BURGERS

I returned to Professor Venomous' mansion after grabbing the items from Gar's. I groaned in annoyance when I went to open the door but it was locked. I put down the two bags I had and knocked on the door. 'I should really ask for a key to the place if I'm going to be coming and going.' I thought in my head as I waited for the door to open. A few seconds later, the door open and I saw Professor Venomous standing there. "Sorry, I must have locked the door by accident." He said with a straight face. I picked up the bags and walked inside. "You can leave those right there." He said pointing to the stairs. I nodded and left the bags where he told me to. "That will be all for today, you may go home." I nodded and started walking to the door. "That burger you got, how did you know the number six was my favorite?" He asked with a small chuckle as I walked out the house. "Oh...well that burger was actually for me 'cause I was hungry but then you ate it, so...lucky guess?" I said rubbing the back of my neck nervously.

Professor Venomous' eyes widened a bit with guilt, "Oh, I'm sorry, I can buy you another one if you would like." He said with a soft tone of his voice which made me blush a little. I shook my head, "No, no, it's fine, really. At least next time I know what to pick you up next time I go there." I say with a small giggle. "Well, I should get going. See you tomorrow Professor Venomous." I said as I started to walk away. "You can just call me Venomous." He called out to me as I left.

When I got home, I got home and sat down on the couch. My stomach started to rumble in hunger and I sighed. I picked up the phone and began to dial my local pizza place. I placed an order for a (favorite pizza) and watched tv while I waited for the pizza to arrive.

The doorbell sounded and I quickly stood up and grabbed some money from my purse. I opened the door and saw the pizza man with my box of pizza with a bag from the burger place I went to today on top. "Oh, is that bag for me?" I asked. The pizza man nodded, "Yeah, a man with purple skin told me to give it to you and he also paid for your pizza so you don't have to worry about the money." He said as he gave me my box of pizza. I closed the door and looked down at the burger bag, a small note was tapped on it. I brought the box to the kitchen and pulled the note off the bog and read it.

'Dear Y/n,

I felt guilty about your burger, so I thought I would bring you one because I felt so bad. I hope you enjoy.

- Professor Venomous'

The note made me blush, I thought it was so sweet of him to bring me a burger when I told him he didn't have to. I smiled and brought the bag to the living room leaving the box of pizza forgotten on the kitchen counter. I grabbed my phone and began typing a message.

'Uh...hey! I got your burger. You really didn't have to do that, but I appreciate it.'

I sent it and pulled the burger out of the bag. I began eating it and I smiled the whole time because I knew that someone bought it because they felt guilty about eating my burger.

(The next day)

I woke up and did what I would usually do. I drove to Venomous' mansion and parked outside like I have done the other two time I have come. I walked to the front door and on the doormat was a key with a note. 'Don't knock' was all it said. I grabbed the key and unlocked the door and walked inside. Instantly I heard the sound of sizzling in the kitchen and the smell of eggs and bacon hit me. I walked into the kitchen and saw Venomous cooking. "Morning!" I say cheerfully. He turns around and smiles a bit, "Good morning." He said before turning his attention back to the food he was cooking.

I looked over as saw some coffee in the coffee pot he had. "Mind if I grab a cup of coffee?" I asked. "Sure," Venomous replied. I walked to one of the cupboards and lucky me found the cups and mugs. I grabbed a mug and poured myself some coffee. There was some sugar beside the coffee maker that I added into the coffee. "Do you have some creamer?" I asked. He nodded, "In the fridge." He said. I walked to the fridge and opened it. I pulled out the creamer out and poured some into my coffee.

"There's a dinner I'm going to and was wondering if you would like to come," Venomous asked. I smiled as I pulled out a spoon and mixed everything into the coffee, "Sure! What time is it at?" I asked. "7, you can go home then come back and I'll drive us there." Venomous told me. I nodded, "Sounds like a plan!"
