We're Perfectly Normal [Invader Zim X Reader ]

Chapter 1

The long trip took place soon after Zim was given his assignment from the Irkan lords of Irk. Zim had given a vow to conquer and destroy the unknown planet that he was soon to do his mission on. He was told to disguise himself, to make himself look exactly like the unknown race he was about to meet. But that would have to wait until he had gotten there. It would take years, maybe months to get the unknown planet he was assigned to. Zim got into the small ship like pod, as his robot assistant Gir had followed behind him. "Yaay! We're off!" He said, as Zim had started up the engine. Pressing buttons, which made a beeping sound at every touch. Gir giggled, as he floated in the air with his rocket boosters. He laughed, as Zim turned and shouted, "GIR!! Stop fooling around and get down here!!" in commandment, as Gir does so. He falls out of the air and lands on Zim's head, causing the alien to scream out in pain. "YOU IMBECILE!! THAT HURT YOU IDIOT!!" He said, as he rubbed the spot that Gir had hit with his hard metal head. "S-sorry master," Gir says lightly, as he looks away. "It's fine, now buckle up! We're about to take- OFF!!" Zim said, in pause, as the ship took off. Causing both of the two to scream, "Wooo!! Let's do that again!!" Gir says, as they had gotten out of their planet's orbit. Zim looked out the window, as he gasps. Amazed by the sight of their home planet, "it's beautiful." He said, as Gir giggled and yawned. Sitting down on the floor. "That'd be wise, Gir. It's gonna be awhile before we soon land. It could probably take months!" Zim says, as Gir had fallen asleep. Zim face palmed and continued with the trip to the unknown galaxy and planet. 

6 Months later, Zim had been annoyed of the trip because Gir was always so loud. He would either be yelling or singing, or both.  "Uuugh, why did they even give me him in the first place? Oh! I know! It's because it's an assistant!" Zim shouted, as he growled lightly under his breath. He didn't want this trip to last forever, but apparently it lasted for about 6 months. When you're from another dimension and world it takes longer to get to any kind of planet. But this unknown planet was far out in another galaxy and solar system, so that makes a lot of sense. The computer had spoken, as it caught Zim's attention. "Welcome to Earth," Zim paused and laughed. "We made it, Gir!!" He says, as he laughed more. "Now.. time to do what we were told to come here for!" He said, as the ship went into the Earth's atmosphere.  

Dib had been on the roof, listening into the sounds of the night. As you lay back on your forearms, looking into the beautiful night sky. Until you saw something pass in the sky, looking almost like a shooting star. "Ooh, ooh! Dib, Dib! I saw something!!" You said, as he took his headset off. "What did you see?" He asked, as you pointed up. "I dunno, but it looked like a shooting star." You replied, as he looked up. "A shooting star? Well it's possible that it could have been a small asteroid, but what happens if it was an Unidentified Alien Object?" Asked Dib, as you think and nod. "It's possible! One day I was outside during the night, writing some things out. When I looked up there were three stars, but two other stars flew in the east and west direction of the sky!" You said, as his mouth was open. "Did you get photos?" He asked, as you shook your head. Disappointed in yourself for not doing so, "I wish I had. But when I told my parents about it, they didn't believe me. They kept on saying that I was just seeing things, but I told them that I wasn't seeing things. If there is us, then there is them!" You say, as he nodded. "Exactly! That is what I was trying to say to my dad! But.. he thinks I'm crazy," Dib replied, as you sigh. "Parents will never fully understand," You responded, you have been studying space and science since you and Dib met. That was back when you had gone to middle school. You think for a moment, as you sigh lightly. Breathing in lightly of the beautiful night before you and Dib. "I swear, that star looked like it was a UFO." You spoke to yourself. 

Zim rubbed his head, as he got out of the ship. Gir followed beside him, as he looked around. Hiding, grabbing Gir. "Listen Gir, we're on a new planet. So that means, stay on guard. We will never know when we will get attacked or ambushed." Zim spoke, as Gir saluted him. Knocking himself over, as Zim did a face palm. "You're an idiot, but I'll make some changes." He said, as he walked over to the spot where he picked the perfect place for the lair and his new home. He first needed a disguise, so did that first and then he did the same to Gir. "There, this is perfect!" He says, as Gir giggled and sat on the ground. "Now time to form our lair," Zim said, as he grabbed his screen and began drawing on it with his pen. Humming lightly, as he chuckles. "There! This will have to do!" He says, as he ran over and shoved the pen drill into the dirt. "GIR! Come away! This will be quick!" Said Zim, as Gir pondered into the road. With squeaky sounds of his feet pattering on the ground. Zim looked forward, as he chuckles. "It's working!" He says, as the house formed and rumbled the half of town. He had been behind something to help him stand, from the rumbling. After the lair was built, people began staring and coming out of their homes. Staring at Zim, as they watched him walk over and grab onto Gir's leash and ponder off. Whistling, as he walked on the step to his new home. The door opened, as he was greeted by what seemed to be robotic parents. "Welcome home, son." The robotic father spoke, as Zim looked behind him. People were still staring until he went inside and shut the door. Closing it, as he leaned his back on it. Sighing lightly, "well.. that went well." He said, sarcastically. Gir giggled, as he ran around the living room in circles. "Yay! We have a new home!!" He says, as he giggled and started dancing randomly. "Gir! I'm going down to the lab, don't break anything." Zim said, as Gir saluted him and then sat on the ground. "Yes sir!" He spoke, as Zim went to the wall where the drawer was held. He kicked it, as it lifted up. He jumped onto the pad, as it moved downward. Sending Zim into his lab. "Ah, finally. I can search what is of this planet and of what it's of, or maybe more." He said, as he took his disguise off. He sat down in a chair, as he spun. "Now let's get to work!" He says, as he began to search up some stuff on his computer. As soon as he began to search, something popped up. And it had a named called; "Skool". "Hmm, interesting. I guess I'll have to go to this 'skool' in order to learn of what this planet is and what it does." Zim said, as he had put his disguise back on.
