I lay in the bed I have always slept in.
I know that what I heard was a dream, it had to have been. Right? It is dark, here in the adoption place. But it is not quiet. You could here crys from kids, snoring, whispers.
By the way it look inside, with only a little light, I could tell it was sunrise.Everyone, when you are a special need kid, they expect you to be dumb. I can talk. But, my computer does it for me. I want to talk. I want to do things normal kids can do. But, I was born this way, I need to accept it. My aide, who looked for me, knew I had some smarts in my dumb body, I just can't use it. I still learn, I have books, and my aide reads them to me.
Come to think of it, I think she was only playing "oh, you are so smart". I don't know. But back to that dream.
I know, yes, it had to be a dream. I am not delusional, I think. The next day I wake up, doctors are talking to the old lady. It looked like the doctors were pleading, they had their hands together. The lady just looked snooty.
"Humph. Huh? Eh. Fine, trial that's final." She said and walked out.
A lady came in, she smiled at me." hello." My computer chimed.
The doctors looked at her in surprise. Like she was someone really inportant.
The lady, not the one who was old, but the lady who stood there staring at me, cupped her hands on her mouth and shed a tear, she was smiling, yet crying. Wait, she was happy, happy i was on bed, paralyzed? Or was she just happy? " hello" my computer said again. She wasn't the lady in the big mansion, she had brown hair like me, green eyes like me, she was me, older... and mobile.
But, why is she here? Seeing me.
Then people said that was enough and she just stood there looking at me. She had a fur coat on, Black leggings, brown boots. She took a small step forward. Something, someone in me told me she was very important. My eyes are heavy.
" good bye, mama" my computer chimes. They say I was crazy. No one was there. But a lady was there. They say she died, after I was born. But I remember her soft green eyes looking into mine. I knew who she was, she was mama. I never called anyone mama before. But it felt right. My heart almost leaped out. I wanted to just go run up to her and cry in her arms while she hugged me.
I cant, and she can't. I wish I could just live a normal life. With a happy family. Instead of being not normal and living with people who don't like me. But, one day, dreams come true, right?
My aide said I was passed out for the rest of the day. Was I dreaming? I don't know. I look to my right where the old lady was on her phone texting, quickly. On my left was the younger lady, who was alsleep.
And in the middle were three kids. All brown hair. One girl, two boys. They were cuddled up together like little puppy newborns. From the looks they were triplets.
" ugh. You're awake. Alright. Dyhnne, Hunter, Sparrow, and Adnia. Wake up. Time to leave." The lady was still on her phone. Dyhnne was already packing her charger and phone and was done. The triplets were stretching.
" mom. Hold on..." Dyhnne looked around, and went to the front desk. She came back with a wheelchair and hooked my computer to it.
" I wanna... I go on first!" One of the boys said. He had tan shorts and yellow and green sport shirt. The other wore the same just yellow and black. The girl, she wore a red dress with a black coat. The girl smiled at me at looked at her brother who were fighting over my chair.
"Sparrow, Hunter stop! Do you want me to take away your books?" Dyhnne said.
I didn't think they would care so much about books , I thought they would be into electronics or something.
"No!" They all replied. Adnia who had her arms crossed was now surprised and looked nervous.

After a few minutes of yelling and shoving, I was finally placed into my seat.
We drove to the big house. Dhynne said one of the master bedrooms were mine. The other three were for the triplets.
The two bedrooms were for Dyhnne and apparently, the old lady is grandma, but likes to be called aunt. But anyways the two bedrooms were for Dyhnne and "aunt".
The boys ran inside. Aunt walked in still on her phone frowning. Adnia was still in the car with me.
"Hi. I'm Adnia. I heard your name was Lizz, right?" My computer chimed "yes" in response. "My brothers and I are five, how old are you?" Adenia asked me. She seemed older than five.
"I am Four"
"Would you like help getting out? Or shown around the house?" Adnia asked.
"Yes"
▪▪▪The house was cleaner than last time.
You could tell they cleaned. Dyhnne was drying the big plates and bowls. The boy in black and yellow looked at Adnia and I. He dropped the bowl he was drying. He had his mouth open in surprise of the plate and Adnia and I, together.
"Sparrow!" Dyhnne said. "That was tradition platter! No books! Hunter... go outside. You've read too much. Adnia. Help you mother please.." she had her hand on her forehead.
"Mom, are you ok?"
"I.. I just need to lay down..." Dyhnne closes the cabinet door and a second later glass fell.
"Ah...moom... have you been drinking since dad left?"
"I think? You know what? I'm an adult, you are a young lady, stop worrying about me!"
"Mom. Yes maam. I will finish the dishes go rest."
"Watch the boys, feed your grandma, and give the boys a P.P.J. Nighty"
"This is the kitchen..."
It was surprising, she changed into a different mood so fast. Adnia has to be the adult around here. She's nice. I don't think the boys really like me. She showed me the rest of the house. The tour was short.

"Dont you dare!" One boy said in the room we were going by. He was screaming.
