I was born in the woods and was able to roam where ever I wanted, well as long as my mom could see me. I was not the brightest little pup, always in trouble and always being seen by the humans. The humans would always yell at me until one day I came across a house with a little human outside playing. I have never seen a small one before. She was with another of her kind but he was a big one. They were throwing a ball back and fourth. So I walked up to the little human and sniffed her. She got exited and I got scared. I Jumped back and she picked me up and started to pet me. She walked over to the big human.
"Dad can I keep him please!!"
"I don't know Jane" the big human said while touching his chin
"Please I will take good care of him and I will give him a bath right now" she sniffed my fur and made a discussed look.
"Well he looks like he is in rough shape, I guess we can keep him"
"Oh my god thanks dad, I love you"
I was confused, we're they going to let me go back to my mom or not. I started to whine but this girl, Jane, looked at me and I stopped. There was something about her that I liked. She was very nice and I liked that. They took me into the house and Jane and her dad took me into a room and started to twist a knob and water poorer out into a tub. They put me in it when it filled up a little and put something cold and slimy on my back. They started to rub it in all over my body and it smelled like sweet. When they rinsed of the slimy, cold thing they called soap, they took me out of the tub and I started to shake and run around. They both laughed at me.
"Jane, what are we going to call him?"
  "Umm how about, umm, Mickey."
"That's cute but what about Charles"
"I like yours better dad" she looked toward me "Your name is now Charles" my wagged my tale at my new name because the one my mom gave me I did not like witch was Harry. I really liked the new name Charles, it suits me. Charles is right for me and only me.
