At the precinct, Skye enters the interrogation room, nerves shot, as all she could remember last night was studying and going to Camille's house. She tells the officers everything she knows, trying to justify her reason for going to Camille's house, but the officers continue to look at her in suspicion because she had eight hours unaccounted for.
After the long interrogation she is led into a holding cell until the police could decide what to do. She sits in the cell, waiting for someone to tell her she is innocent, but is met with Piper's parent's lawyers who tell her that she has to go to trial.
Piper's parents pay the bail and she is released from her cell. Skye walks out the doors of the police station, determined to find out who had actually committed the crime and to clear her name. She quickly drives to her flat and opens the door to Piper attacking her in a hug.
"Skye! I was so worried! What happened?!" Piper asks.
"I don't know how to begin this, but..." Skye tells Piper everything that happened from the study group to her arrest.
"I believe you, Skye, but I just wish that I could be your alibi for last night!"
"But, you can't Piper. You fell asleep," Skye says, exasperated.
"I know, I'm sorry." Piper sighs, "What can I do to help?"
"I've been thinking about doing a bit of detective work. You with me?"
"Sure! Anything for my BRE!"
"Bre? What is that supposed to mean?" Skye asks, aware of the weird acronyms her friend comes up with.
"Best roommate ever of course!" cries Piper, "I can't wait to start using the things that I'm learning in my forensic anthropology classes! The long days of boring classes are finally coming to use!"
"Piper, you do know that we aren't allowed to go anywhere near the body, right?"
"Aw man! You don't have to be a debbie downer!" Piper says jokingly.
Skye and Piper begin working on the timeline of events that will lead them to the suspects. Skye knows that Moira, Camille's best friend, left for food together last night, so she was probably the last person that saw Camille alive.
Skye and Piper quickly drive to Moira's flat where she opens the door with teary eyes.
"Oh, Skye, Piper," she sniffles, "Come in."
"Moira, I didn't―"
Moira cuts her off, "I know you didn't kill her, Skye. I know you didn't." Skye is baffled because she was sure that Moira would be mad at her.
"Look, Skye. You may be the campus drug dealer, but I know you don't have the heart to murder someone."
"Thanks Moira. I really appreciate it." Moira leads Skye and Piper into the living room as she begins to explain what happened after leaving the study group.
"We went to the fish and chips place down the street from your flat after leaving the study group. Before we even finished eating, Camille got up and said that she had to talk to her boyfriend, Chris."
As Skye listens to Moira talk about Camille and Chris' relationship, she could pick up the jealous tone of voice that Moira used towards the topic of Chris. Though Skye tries to push the topic of Chris, Moira claims that she knows nothing and would not kill her own best friend over "such a silly reason."
