Hi I'm Lindsay! I'm 4 years old, almost up to a whole hand! [ she holds up 4 fingers] grandma's coming home for Christmas! It's going to be so much fun! She told me she is getting a surprise for me! I hope it's that new Polly pocket she told me that presents don't matter to her the only present she wants is to see me! She's coming all the way from GEORGIA! Mummy says that's a long ways away grandma says they grow oranges there! I like oranges. Well I got to go to bed now, Daddy's going to read my favourite book! It's about a bear who makes a friend named pig and they go on a picnic and - [ Mum calls : 'Lindsay! Brush your teeth sweetie!'] well I have to go. Bye bye! Goodnight. [ the night passes. and morning comes][ Mum calls: 'Lindsay wake up grandmas here!!!] GRANDMA!!!!![ Lindsay runs down the stairs to the living room] [ it's empty] Where's grandma? [ Lindsay starts crying] [ her mum comes in] Mummy where's grandma? You said she was here! [ Mum: 'sweetie, it's 6:00 in the morning, what are you doing up this early? *yawn*] wheres grandma? [ Mum: 'grandmas not here yet honey. She doesn't come till tomorrow.'] [ Mum picks her up and takes her to bed] [ Mum: ' you need some sleep. I don't want you to be a bum when your tired.] :( [ Mum kisses Lindsay on her forehead and goes back to her room] I can't fall asleep [ 10 minuets pass] Ugh! I'll try counting sheep! That'll work. 1 2 3 4 [ Lindsay's grandma calls from the living room] [ grandma: 'Lindsay, I'm here!'] GRAMDMA!!! [ Lindsay throws off her covers and runs to the living room again] [ she sees her grandma sitting in the couch with a smile on her face!] [ Grandma: ' Lindsay my sunshine...'] GRANDMA!! [ she hugs her] [ grandma: ' ohh sunshine, is that the tightest hug you have?''] [ grandmama: ' show me a bear hug'] [ Lindsay hugs her real tight] [ Grandma: 'Now darling, you have to get some sleep you know. Mummy doesn't want you to be a bum in the morning.'] :) [ Lindsay falls asleep in her grandmas arms] [ she wakes up at 9:00in her bed] Grandma must have carried me to bed last night she's the bestest grandma ever! I love her plus plus plus plus PLUS infinity [ she goes down to the kitchen where she finds her mum crying] sis daddy lose his job again? [ her mum looks at her and nods her head back and forth slowly and forces a smile] [ Mum: ' ran *cough* Grandma will not be coming this Christmas.' Why!?!? [ Lindsay starts crying] [ Mum: 'Grandmas in a beautiful place..'] really?!?like the flower garden we saw in TV?! [ Mum: 'like the flower garden we saw on the TV. Even better.'] ooooh what's this place called, I want to go! [ mum: ' sweetie, grandmas in heaven, flying around with beautiful angels of all types, where everyone's kind, and nobody fights.'' Grandmas dead?!? [mum: ' no sweetie, she will always be alive in our hearts'] but she's here! She took me to bed! [ mum: sweetie she can't be here, she went to heaven at 6:10am'] But... she's here
