A S I A T A Y L O R
The first day of school was, undeniably, like hell.
By the time it was the last class, I was already on-edge and restless, too tired of the looks and whispers sent my way, and the lovely glares of the jerkface who introduced me to the floor earlier.
Yeah, he is in every single one of my freaking classes. It couldn't have been more cliche.
After enduring his stares-more like glares- for half the day, I did the only smart thing to do. I turned around to the jerk who thought he could kill me with his glares and flipped him off.
The fuming expression on his face just made me smile even more.
"Alright, class, for the project I talked about which covers 50% of your final grade, you are going to have to form groups and begin immediately." The nonchalent professor standing in the front of the class drawled out.
That made me snap to attention. What project?
I nudged the girl sitting beside me, who was snoring, already asleep. "Wha....WHAT'S HAPPENING? IS THERE A WAR? HAS THE ALIENS TAKEN OVER? I KNEW IT-" I immediately clamped my hand over her mouth and shushed her.
"No, it's just school. Actually, now that I think about it, it is kind of like a war zone." I snorted.
The brown haired girl's eyes blinked open and realisation dawned on her. "Oh." A redness coloured her cheeks.
"Hey, we've all woken up and thought aliens were invading our planet before." My attempt to comfort people always failed.
The girl laughed a little at my sarcasm and shook her head, clearly still embarrassed.
"Can I just ask you something?"
I looked at her in question.
"Did you just wake me up from a nap?"
"Yeah...?"
"Oh. Well don't ever do that again, because I hate being awoken." She finished off the sentence with a cold voice and shot me a serious glare.
My eyebrows rose. Well, that went from 0 to 100 real quick.
"But, what did you wake me up for?" The former death expression on her face transformed into one of a cheerful angel. And just like that, the dial went from 100 back to 0.
