He stole a glance at the beautiful woman whom his love for grew with each passing day. Her ice-blue eyes had been what had originally caught his attention. Being honest with himself was as easy as writing his name to him when it came to her. He knew from the day they met, he would always be there for her through thick and thin.
As he drove them to the house they now share, he remembered every detail of the day they met.

He and his friend Chance sat in thier third class of the day, chatting and joking about anything they could come up with. Chance showed him a picture of his twin sister's new haircut, making them both laugh. Chance's smile disappeared when she walked in.
She awkwardly stood there observing the room until a jock and his cheerleading groupie shoved past. Staring them down, he could have sworn he had seen something flash behind the hair that hid the left side of her face. Next thing he knew, he saw the lights flash and heard the teacher mutter a curse. It ceased as quickly as she looked away from the two.
Chance leaned over.
"Dude," he whispered, "that's that hot chick i was telling u about earlier"
"What's her name?"
"How should i know? She barely even looked at me when i tried starting a conversation with her."
"That's harsh. Usually girls are all over you."
The two boys watched as she settled in the seat in front of them.
Chance playfully smacked his arm with his fingers and pointed.
"Told you she had a nice butt."
"Dude, have a little respect for the new girl." he repremanded with a wink.
Chance raised his hands in mock surrender, " hey, im just saying that the cheer leaders have a little more competition with her around." he stated a little too loud.
She turned around and he thought he had heard his heart shatter. She had seemed familiar to him, yet he knew he hadn't seen her before. Her expression when from blank to expectant as he tried to remember what words were.
"I-I'm s-sorry 'bout my friend here, he can be a bit inappropriate from time to time."
He faintly heard Chance begin to snicker.
Ignoring him, he held his hand to her. "I'm James Rizzo. Though, most just call me Jimmy."
She glanced at his outstretched hand and began to say something, but hesitated. For a minute, he thought he was going to get the same treatment Chance had received earlier, but after a minute, she took it.
