SCARED

Jack POV

    Scared, scared, scared, breathe, breathe, slow, slow, heart beat, heart beat, slow, scared, alone, dark, cold, heavy breathing, scared, slow, breathe...

   I grip my head tightly. I'm trembling, I cant hide it. I'm petrified. I don't want to die. I can't die. I feel the tears in my eyes, I clench my fists and grit my teeth. Guys can't be scared, they can't cry...

   What is up with that stupid bull? I wanna cry, I am scared so why can't I be like this right now? I hear a sniffle. I snap my head back and see Merida. Shaking and sobbing.

  Oh...that's why. I stop the tears from spilling and stand up. I walk slowly to where I hid Merida. Her eyes filled with fear looks up at me shooting daggers right through my heart. I stare back down at her. My hair falls right in front of my eyes, I let out a soft sigh. I can't be scared right now. I can't when I have to save my friends and protect Merida. She removes her gaze from me and starts to rock back and forth.

  I kneel down in front of her. "Hey." I whispered. She wouldn't lift up her head. I pick up my hands toward my chest. A little blue light glows in between my hands. I form a little rabbit from little pieces of ice. Merida stares at it in wonder. I slowly look at her with no expression on my face. I look back at the rabbit and lightly tap on it.

  It came alive and ran around in the air as if nothing could hold it down. Little snowflakes appear every time it bounced with a little blue light following after it. It ran around in circles and around Merida. She smiles and giggles softly. I put my elbow on my knee and rest my cheek on my palm. With the other hand I lift up my finger slightly which made the bunny run up to the ceiling. Merida watches with delight. With the same hand I close it into a fist.

  The bunny disappears into snowflakes. She grins and reaches up to touch the snowflakes. I did not smile once. I had no time to smile. She giggles and smiles. I hug her and get up. "Jack. That was awesome. I didn't know you could do that." She says. I don't say a word or smile. I just stare at her. I turn my back to her and walk to the door that's separating us away from the beast. "Jack what are y-" I turn my head a little to her.

  "Remember to stay quiet and stay out of sight." That was the last sentence I say to her. "JA-" I yanked the door opened and slammed it behind me. I stood right in the middle of the hallway facing the beast. It turns slowly and faces me. It was about 30 feet away. I'm breathing hard. I grit my teeth. Its mouth opens with a sickening smile and starts to lick its face like before. Blood still stained its white face from the nurse.

  That poor lady. She didn't deserve that. Sweat drips down from the side of my face. "bbucgifjYOUsgduydFOODskbbvNOWcgcc" My stomach turns. "Revolting. Come and get me then you a**hole." I said disgustedly. It stopped smiling. Now its mouth is wide open showing its teeth. "cbcbvwDIEvufuy!" Its piercing scream echoed throughout the hospital. I run straight towards it. It runs to me and it jumps towards me. I slide under it and keep running down the halls.

My heart is going to explode.

My head is pounding.

My legs are gonna fall off.

I'M SCARED

   Keep running, keep running, keep running, don't stop. If you stop you'll die. If you stop Merida dies. If you stop everyone will die. All because of you..

  "NO!!" I scream at the top of my lungs. I burst down the winding halls. I hear it coming. I stop and turn around in a flash. I stuck out my arm and made a sharp dagger of ice big enough to impale through an entire bus. It races toward me with its disgusting tongue flapping in the air, it leaps with its arms reaching to me. "Die you Bastard." I choked out. and shot the ice dagger. It got hit straight through the chest.

  With the force of being hit it flung back. It hit the wall where the ice dagger impaled it. It struggled to get a hold of the ice. It shot its long arm at me grabbing my neck. I grip onto its hand struggling to get free. It was screaming loud super loud. Slowly I begin to lose consciousness.

"Oh my god. Your Jack Frost!! I am so sorry!! You are the most popular person in school!! And-"

That voice..

"Don't you see, I can't!"

"Well my name is Elsa Winter. And this is Anna Winter my sister."

"People thought I was weird for wearing gloves and being an expert on music. Also because.......I was so alone."

Broken, in pain, this voice...

"Its ok."

"J-jack."

"Jack Jack Jack!!"

"And that's for always being here for me."

This voice, so pure and sweet...

  My eyes fly open. A new found anger bubbles up inside of me. I glare at the monster and wrap my hands on its arm. "DIE." The only word I could say without using to much air. I squeezed hard and thousands of ice shoot out from its arm, impaling its entire body. It screamed one last time till ice shot out from its face, taking away its last breath. It let go of me. I fall to the ground with a thud. "AH!" I gasp grasping my neck. I cough a couple times. I keep gasping for air as I look at the dead beast.

  Lifeless. That could have been me. "Damn..." I slowly get up. "Ha, looks like I'm really living for you Elsa." I chuckle. "I don't care who you are, or where you are, but you will never take her away from me because I care about her more then you ever will." I look up at the camera above me. "She is mine." I face the other way and run. "Mer-Merida." I keep running even if I'm scared...

How naïve. You think she's yours? Ha. "Interesting, so he wasn't kidding when he said you had powers just like her. Ah, well 543 wasn't the strongest from his bunch, but still how could you just easily kill hi with no experience of battle? Tsk that don't matter now. If you really care about Elsa, prove it, come and find me boy."

  "Send out 001, maybe he will teach that Frost a lesson about knowing what isn't his." Pfft. You're hallucinating if you think I'll let you have her. Elsa isn't yours.

  She's mine.

 "You know what they say. You'll never stop loving your first love. Isn't that right Elsie?" Hm, she's still asleep. "Ah don't worry Elsie you'll get out of these ropes soon I promise." I grin. I place a kiss on her lips. "Don't worry I wont let that Frost take you away from me this time. And I'll make sure, permanently."

 I walk away.

Come at me Frost. I dare you to take her away from me. Lets see who she chooses.
