"They" are special. In reality "they" are a threat. "They" are what is called an Astros. An Astros is someone you could call... 'gifted'. They have a gift but it's not some amazing gift, it is actually the opposite. Astros think differently than the people in this broken society. An Astros thought process is like an average persons in your society, able to choose between right and wrong, what is smart and dumb, and what is logical or insane. Though the government calls them gifted, they treat them like prisoners. They are only calling the Astros gifted so their parents will give up their children.
This society has fallen. From 2018 to 2049 this society has only collapsed creating an insane and cruel government. Poverty over runs the towns while the rich live in gated communities to be protected from such filth. Rebel groups are spread throughout the country trying to over run the current government to create a new insane government.
Of course the underdeveloped Astros don't know of the outside world only those who are ready. The Astros who are ready are feared, they hunt and kill the only hope of changing this broken society. To be completely honest they are the people's biggest fear... their mortal enemy.
That's what they thought until one day one Astros escaped and realized just how wrong and broken the society was. How most Astros just followed orders and were being controlled by the government. So she took a stand, and this is where our story begins.
