Kalani asked me a question that was a bit weird.

"I don't know. Why?" I said looking down at Kalani smiling.

"Just asking. You guys are acting like a couple." She said with a massive smile on her face.

"You guys should get back together you guys look cute together."she beamed

"You really think so?" I asked looking down at her.

"Yea. Even though he's the one who killed daddy I still love him and, I want you to be happy." She said my entire facial expression changed and I went from happy to angry.

I stopped packing her stuff, squatted down to her level. "Who told you that?" I asked with a confused/angry look on my face.

"Earlier today Uncle Louis and Aunt Shayla told us that Michael is a psychopathic killer who killed daddy!" She said not seeming to understand the seriousness of what she just said but, who can blame her she is a 4 year old.

"Babe um finish packing your stuff then go help Lexi with her stuff ok." I said walking toward the room door.

"Where are you going?" She asked just as I was about to cross the threshold of the room.

"Uncle Michael and I need to go run an errand we'll be right back I promise." I said walking out the room to Lexi's room.

I walk into her room to see her and Michael talking and laughing. I just stood in the doorstep and observed and, started thinking long and hard about Kalani's question. Sadly my trail of thoughts were cut short by my amazing daughter running up to me with what looks like a drawing.

"Mommy look at the picture I drew. It's me, you, and daddy!" She said as she handed me the drawing. I couldn't help but smile.

"It's amazing!" I said hugging my daughter. All of a sudden Michael came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder.

"Yea it's amazing just like mommy!" Michael said as he kissed my cheek smiling.

"I hope you guys know I love you both." Michael said, Kalani was right the two of us are acting like a couple.

"We know daddy!" Lexi said smiling.

"Yeah daddy we know." I said teasing Michael.

"Hun, can daddy and I talk alone for a second while you go help your cousin pack?" I asked. She nodded vigorously and ran out the room.

Michael started to laugh as he pulled me closer to him. "Not now." I spoke sternly and backed away to sit on Lexi's bed.

"What's wrong you seem tense?" He asked.

"Louis and Shayla told the kids something." I said. He just stared at me blankly.

"Well... What did they say?" He asked with an attitude.

"They told them that you killed Zayn!" I said just shaking at the memory of what he did to my brother. I could tell that he was upset.

"What did Kalani say?" He asked. I looked down just thinking about what he's gonna say when I tell him what Kalani said to me.

"She said that even though you killed Zayn, that she still loves you and she wants me to be happy."I said he just stared at me looking lost.

"Why did she say that she just wants you to be happy?" He asked not even looking lost anymore but he sounded lost too.
