Kyle POV
To get her to do what you want, you have to first make her believe she needs you.
Once you've taken her vulnerability, manipulate her until she thinks whatever your doing is ok.That what your doing is right.
It will take time obviously, but I've got my princess brainwashed.
Sage is better off here than she was at her moms place anyways.
I can't risk the chance of losing her again...I just can't***
Sages POV
"Pop open the champagne bottles"!Wayde says plopping down on the couch.
We all successfully completed our last mission for a couple of months.Though I don't really feel like celebrating I join in anyways.
Kyle pours me a glass and makes a toast.
"Let us all raise a glass, to family, wealth, and new beginnings".
He glances my way.
I know I should be trying to find a way out of here and go back home to my normal life but...
What's the point in trying to leave when I know I can't.
I've learned to follow the rules and not talk back. I'd rather have him in a good mood, that way nobody gets hurt.
Anyways what's the point in going back, nobody loves me like Kyle does.
I wipe these thoughts to the back of my mind and try to focus on being in the moment.
We all raise our glass and the room is filled with cheering and laughter.I take a sip, not because I want to drink it but because that's just the right thing to do.
"Be proud princess, we would only be half successful if it weren't for you" Kyle says with a grin."I'm not sure I take that as a compliment but" I smile and raise my glass to him.
Cheers.
