Chapter 6: Bonded...as in Loved?

Harry's POV

I took off my jacket once we got back to the house. The interview had gone great, only problem was I kept getting asked if I was seeing anyone. Emily and I hadn't had the chance to talk about the stolen kisses in her bedroom or in the resturant so I didnt know what to say. Luckily Liam came to the rescue, saying it wasnt official and changed the subject. Now I wanted to go see Emily badly. Not knowing about how she was, except avoided answers from Danielle and Eleanor, was killing me.

Once we got inside, they both excused themselves to the upstairs to check on Emily. I must of showed some emotion because they glanced at Liam and Louis before they headed upstairs.

'It'll be okay mate,' Liam said putting an arm around my shoulders and leaded me into the livingroom. 'She's strong, she'll pull through.'

'Isn't it exciting knowing that our three girls are out to save the world and have amazing kick-butt powers,' Louis did a jump kick before plopping down next to me.

'Dude take a chill pill,' Zayn said opening a soda from the fridge. 'Seriously.' Zayn sat next to Niall on the loveseat. Simon sighed and sat down on the armchair.

'I'm sorry,' Louis said softly. 'I'm just....overwhelmed with joy.'

'Why,' Niall scoffed. 'They've nearly gotten killed! Eleanor went all physco animal on that guy, Gabriel I think. And we found out that the human race's gonna end. Yeah that's definitly something to celebrate,' he rolled his eyes sarcastically.

'Well sorry Horan,' Louis snapped.

'Guys,' Liam said. 'No fighting. Yes the girls almost got killed and Eleanor showed a rather unusual side of her no one had seen before, but look at it the way Louis does. We know something huge that the rest of the human world doesnt know about. Yeah it's depressing but we'll always have each other and we need to help Emily succeed in stopping the apocolipse. As for the human race ending-'

'What,' Simon said all of a sudden, jumping to his feet. I looked over my shoulder to the doorway.

There stood  Danielle and Eleanor, distressed, shaken and soaking wet from head to toe. I jumped up and ran over to them, followed by Liam and Louis. Zayn and Niall grabbed some towels from the kitchen and handed them to the girls to dry off. They were shaking so badly the couch was moving.

'She's gone,' Danielle wailed, crying into Eleanor's shoulder.

I stood up and ran upstairs. 'Emily! Emily!' I moved from room to room. She couldnt be gone! She just couldnt be. It wasnt possible. She had just gotten here. I stopped in her room, standing in the door way. I gasped.

Everything was overturned. Cloths were stewed all over the room, furniture thrown everywhere. I fell to my knees next to her bed. A picture of her, Trevor and what seemed to be her parents lay next to me, a crack in the glass protector.

'Emily,' I whispered. I stayed there for a few minutes before making my way slowly downstairs. I walked into the girls explaining what visions they had gotten when they had found out she was gone.

'...two men...attacked...tied...forced,' Eleanor whimpered into Louis's chest. He was holding her tightly and murmuring sweet nothings in her ears, trying to calm her down.

'She's been kidnapped?' I asked running a hand through my curls. 'But why?'

'Its her 'twin',' Danielle explained. 'He's found her. And he'll do anything to get her out of the way so he can destroy the human race. He wont stop at anything. Not anymore.'

'Anymore?'

'Yes,' Eleanor said. 'She's left her mark.'

'What?'
