Chapter 1: Facing the Jock

   PJ entered the room late. "Sorry I'm late, Mr. Nightmare." PJ said as he took a seat beside me. Dang he was tall. Every jock would bully me because I was too short to handle anyone. Mr. Nightmare just kept on teaching. After History class, I went to my locker. The two were back there, the same guys. I heard PJ say "Goth". Thinking that was the other's name. They both nodded and walked over to me. I just ignored them and put my history books up and got my sketchbook out and drawing stuff. Someone then shut my locker before I could grab another thing. "Looks like we have another nerd here, Goth." PJ said as I turned around. I was up to his knee when I stood up straight. "A short nerd, too", Goth and PJ chuckled at me. I just stood there, looking down at my books. I didn't know what to say. "Hey nerd, you just gonna stand there or what?" Asked PJ, clearly confused and frustrated. I looked up at him, and swallowed hard. "Um...I g-got to go do something..." I stuttered out, backing up into my locker. PJ would slam his hand into another locker beside me. "Aw, going so soon? We were just about to have some fun..." he said smiling at me creepily. I knew that smile anywhere, so I went under his arm and ran as fast as I could away from them. I could hear PJ yelling at Goth telling him to chase after me. I was a fast runner if I was being chased by someone. I went into my next class which was Art. God, I loved Art, the thought of Art is amazing. I've drawn some animals in the past that looked cool. "Alright class, today you will draw anything you would like since we have a new student." the teacher said as I took out my drawing book and started drawing. I drew for the rest of the period, I drew a bird with a berry in it's talons. Ink walked over to me and said, "Wow Amber, I like your drawing!" I was happy that he said my drawing looked good. After class, I had put my stuff in my locker and head to lunch. It was salsberry steak today for lunch. I sat down with some of my friends, which were nerds like me.
