Chapter 9: Grocery Shopping

At the Supermarket

Nia's POV

So Xavier and I pull up to the store and hop out holding each other hands to walk to the entrance. As soon as we enter guess who we see? We see my one of my best friends Shari all booed up with this light skin fellow. So I walk over and try to embarrass her.

So I walk over to them and say "Hey best friend what you doin here and who is this lil cute boy, hi nice to mee you I'm Shari's friend this is my boyfriend Xavier". I introduced us to him.

"Hey nice to meet you and hey bro". He gave me a hug and dapped Xavier.

"Hey Nia and Xavier what's up but Nia can I talk to you real quick just over there thank you." She asks me looking red as hell like we interrupted her moment like damn we just wanted to say hi.

"What's up with you and that fine boy you on a date right now?" I ask her.

"Girl he is a snack right but you just ambushed us like damn Nia but it's okay I just got nervous because this is our first time out but what you guys here for? Going grocery shopping?" She says.

"Yeah and aww ya'll are mad cute together tho so I fully support and it looks like Xavier and what's his name just left off without us so let's go find them," I say looking around for them.

"Oh, his name is Kalin and they prolly near the snack aisle so let's go." She says walking with me to the aisles.

walking towards the chip aisle there we find the two boys emptying like a whole shelf of chips.

"Woahhh buddy what are you doing put some of them back and you too Kalin I barely know you but I know you don't need 30 bags of chips". I say to both of them.

'Bae calm down and me and bro were just getting snacks to last us the rest of the month."

'Well, how bout me and Shari handle the snacks and you guys can get us some drinks because tonight we finna have a hangout night where everybody comes over okay?" I tell them, I don't know I'm feeling good today and in the mood to see all my boos today.

Also, had to have the takis on deck. Obviously, there was way more stuff but you get the gist. After getting all kinds of food and junk food we went to the cashier and the cashier looked at us like we were crazy with all this food but hey we gotta eat and we can't starve so he betta gets to checking us out. Finally, we had paid and had to lug all this stuff to the cars but we managed it and we all said bye and later bc we gonna see them later anyway.

"So bae, we going to that meeting right bc it start at 3 and it 2:30 rn so hurry up."

"Okay let's go, dang babe". He said driving off.

We finally arrived in front of an empty building that looked like it was in the process of getting built so I just thought weird about it but it's whatever let's go meet this lady before I do not have a fashion brand out.

When we got out the car there was an entrance and walked in that way to see an elevator there

so we got in and rode up to level 3 and saw a pretty girl who was like in her 20's and she had her edges slayed honey and her hair was poppin so was her outfit like hunty.

"Hey are you guys Nia and Xavier?' She said taking her hand out and shaking ours.

"Hey girl I just want to say I love your hair and edges are slayed but for real hey and you said you can help my fashion line branch out," I told her but quickly getting to the seriousness.

"Yeah I can and if you would sit down we can talk more about that."

"Okay.'

Xavier's POV

Little does Nia know that me and Tavena are about to tell her. Tavena is going to be her new assistant/manager and help her build her fashion company. Oh let's just hope she is happy about this and I'll let you guys know what happens in the next chater.
