Heroes

Chapter 1

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes....

They can be  big or small, fat or skinny...

They can even be with or without powers...

Some can start with no powers at all... and then gain them...

And some can give...

I would know...

I've seen it all...

"Oh yeah, Midoriya wanted to go to U.A., too, right?" Everyone in my class is silent as they looked at my best friend, Izuku Midoriya, after the teacher had announced that. That was before they all started laughing.

"Huh? Midoriya? No way!" Someone said. I glared at the class as I sat in silence. "You can't get into the hero course just by studying!" Midoriya stood up with a stutter, "Th-they got rid of that rule!"

"There's just no precedent-"

"AGHH!" An angry blonde, Katsuki Bakugou, interrupted him as pushed the dark haired boy back with his power, or Quirk as we call it, which is causing explosions.... big or small.

"hey, Deku!" The blonde yelled using that insulting nickname, meaning 'useless', he had given to Midoriya, "you're below the rejects! You're Quirkless!" Yes, that's why everyone laughed, Midoriya was Quirkless, he had no powers. I looked at him in pity as Bakugou continued. "How can you even stand in the same ring as me?"

"No, wait, Kacchan!" The green eyed boy panicked, trying to reason with the arrogant dirt bag, " it's not like I'm trying to compete with you or anything!" He backs himself up to a wall. "Believe me!" He looked so terrified...

He started to mumble and I never can understand him when he does that. Whatever it was angered Bakugou. "Whaddya mean unless you try?!" He growled, "are you taking this test for fun?!"

"What the hell can you do?!" Bakugou continued, "you're Quirkless!" The class snickers.

"You're not the only one who aced the mock tests..." The teacher spoke.

"Huh? What?!" Bakugou asked with growl.

"Kareki did as well and wants to be in U.A., too," the teacher added. All eyes were on me now. I shrunk in my seat. Yeah, the daughter of both a villain and a hero is setting her goal to U.A. I heard mumbles of my parents.

"Isn't her father, Mind Bender, a villain?"

"Yeah, you think she'll become a villain like him?"

"Nah, she might be like a hero like her mom."

"Thunder Again?"

"Yeah."

I cower in my seat... I hated the attention... make it stop..

Later, when class ended. I stuck around, waiting for Midoriya. I was about to go up to him when..

"We're not done talking yet, Deku," Bakugou said as he waved Midoriya's book in the air. "Katsuki, what's that?" One of Bakugou's side buddies asked as two of them approached. The red eyed bully showed them. "Huh? 'Hero Analysis for the Future'?" the brunette read before laughing. "Seriously?" The ravenette then laughed, "Midoriya." Midoriya the stood. "I-it's fine, isn't it?" he asked innocently, "give it back!" Bakugou the used his Quirk to burn his book but not to ash. Midoriya cries out, staring at the book. "That mean," he whimpers. I start to approach them and Bakugou throws the book out the window causing Midoriya to shriek. "What?!"
