Fallen

Chapter 1

         We flew around through the sky, playing games that we made up. Everything was peaceful until darkness rolled around. We stopped our dragons to see a black storm heading our way. I knew what it was, the dark corruption. The only community who didn't like the way the kings ruled. My father is the most powerful, the storm came closer. We held our ground. The storm got close enough to separate. 5 men surround us. 3 of which I recognized, Jayden, Matthew, and Caleb. Easton tensed up, 'Relax kid, I'm here to talk to princess,' Matthew said.

Easton looked at me, I nodded following Matthew leaving Easton and the other 4 guys. They fly to a nearby island. 'You're father wants you to marry the son of Ranok,'

'WHAT!?!' I shout, I know every son/daughter of royalties from all kingdoms. Ranok is one kingdom we often fight with. Making peace with it would mean to marry the son. The son is an annoying little brat. I didn't like him. Plus I'm only 14.

'Yeah,' Matthew said, 'I don't like it either,'

I hug him. No one knows about us. Not even my father. He hugs me back. 'I know, what are we going to do?' He asked. 

I shrug this is the first time I don't know what to do. I thought for a while. My thoughts were broken when we see another dark storm coming towards us. I let go of him and stand away from him. Asher, Matthew's younger brother came with some other dudes. 'There you are Matthew,' Asher said. 'Where have you been?' 

Asher looked at me. 'Talking with Princess I see,' He snorts. Is that why you run away at night? You've been seeing princess?' 

He was bugging Matthew. I did something that I shouldn't have done. I pushed Asher so hard he falls to the ground. Asher makes a smoke screen shoot up in the sky. signalling close Corruptors, The 5 dudes come in a snap, Easton in their arms. A fight broke out, Easton and I grab our dragons shooting at them with fire spears. We took to the sky, The corruption following. I rammed into Asher pushing him back while Easton attacked some dudes. I fought with all my might. Something big hit me, I felt nothing but air. I was falling, Matthew tried to grab me but couldn't. I kept falling, my necklace forming a protective sphere around me, it forced me to hypersleep as I fell. Everything went black.

             I don't know how long it was till I woke when I did, I was in a brightly lit area. I looked around, a person was there. 'Where am I? Who are you?' I asked. 

'Ah you're awake,' the person said. She grabbed a strange thing and brought it near me. I backed up a bit, not knowing what it is. She put it to my chest. 'I'm surprised you survived that fall,'
'We have to teach you how to walk and talk again,' 
She kept rambling on and on. I sat up while she was looking away. 'Well, you learn real quick,'

I know how to learn how to do things fast. I stood up and took a step, another and another. 'Is this what I have to do?' I ask.

'Yeah, you seem all good to go, I'll go tell the doctor,' she said before leaving. 

I walked around looking at stuff. These people have strange things, though lots were like ours. I heard the door open, a man in white walked up to me. 'What's your name?' he asked.

'Everyone back at home calls me Princess,' I answered 

'Where are you from?' 

'Opar, Canok,' I answered. Opar is my kingdom and Canok is the island. 

'Never heard of that place, miss,' 

'It's the most powerful kingdom of Canok,' I said.

'We might need to put her in the asylum,' I heard the man say. 

I started freaking out, the asylum for us is a torture house to get information from new kingdoms. They left knowing I could hear them. I opened a glass thing, it went to the outside. I climbed through the window and landed on some bushes. I ran onto some hard stuff, a strange beast ran past me it let out a cry. I ran faster into some trees, I hid behind a large tree.  My eye's wandered to the sky, my home was up there. 

Easton and Matthew are up there. I hear steps, I get up and start climbing. Some boy passed by, he looked like Matthew. 'Matthew?' I asked out loud. 

The boy stopped and turned around. 'I-Is anyone there?' 

He looked at the tree I was in. 'What are you doing up there?' He asked me. 

'Don't tell. I don't want to go to the Asylum,' I said.

'I won't tell but come down from there,' he said.

I obliged and hopped down from the tree. 'What's your name?' 

'Everyone calls me Princess,' I answered.

 'So a nickname? What's your real name?' He asked. 

'I don't give my name to people I don't know,' I answer.

'I see, Well the names Mark,' Mark said.
I was sad but glad that it wasn't Matthew.  'Come with me, Princess. I will help you,'

I nodded. We both walked to his home. He gave me some 'Proper' clothes to wear. 
I put on what they called a hoodie and some jeans. Night soon came, he showed me to this big block. It was really comfy. We had Hammocks made from floating shower wood. (Shower wood is a soft leaf that floats) I looked out the glass to see stars. My home was in those stars somewhere. I soon fell asleep, dreaming about home.
