Magnum Chapter 17: Unknown sisters

Millia, along with her old friends managed to escape the onslaught of the first 2 armies from Rezolin HQ. After the tactical retreat, Aiyu planned to find a specific duo that she knows of in (Japan). Thus, they flew they're way over as fast as they could before anyone else knows what are they up to.

Millia: So Aiyu, who are these duo you were talking about during the planning?

Aiyu: Oh wasn't I clear with the two of them?

Shizuka: Half the time you were chomping down the biscuits on the table and you finish 4 cups of tea.

Aiyu: You knew?

Millia: How could anyone not notice.

Aiyu: Ouh... never mind that. As I was saying, there is a specific duo I know when I was still in Japan. They go by the name of Mio and Mia, Mio, being the older sister, she is capable of close combat fights and assassinations. She is also a professional with fast paste kind of work.

Millia: Similar to me, does the job as fast as possible to not attract attention.

Shizuka: But clumsiness is one part you left out. In the past you used to leave those injured and let them tell the others about your whereabouts.

Millia: Ok, except that. It was a mistake I got over.

Aiyu: Mia, the younger sister. I couldn't get a  brief info on her, but from what I known from Mio. She was a the stealth type. Mia normally hides within the shadows before attacking her target. Though both are sisters, Mio and Mia rarely interacts with each other. But they do protect themselves from any harm, so if we find either one of them, the other will sure be nearby.

Shizuka: Then we shall try our best to find the duo.

Millia: Agreed, plus we should focus more on Mio, she sounds like the contract killer.

Aiyu: Actually you not that far off from her job! She does take up contracts to either kill or capture people for rewards. Some people in Japan once said to me about her doing a job well done and she got paid extra if it was done in a day.

Shizuka: Damn she must've been a real pro at it!

Aiyu: *Nods* Yes and yet, Mio was only sighted during dawn or midnight. That's when the city was more quiet and people who were out alone are more prone to be her target.

Millia: Sheesh now I'm even more scared to be near her.

Aiyu: That's why we need to search in groups if we are going to find them.

  Millia and the girls agreed to find and persuade the two sister to join forces. While on their way over, they dropped by a forest to take a break after the preparation to escape from the scouts. 

Millia: Hey lets set up camp here.

Shizuka: Alright, I'm hungry after all those spells casted at the scouts.. its giving me a headache.

Aiyu: Agreed... I'll check around the forest for some firewood to get the fire started.

Millia: Ok,we'll meet back in 10 minutes.

  Millia then sets a beacon on the area before leaving for area scanning, in case of enemies nearby. Aiyu, walked into the forest to collect firewood and twigs. And Shizuka starts to chant spells from her relic Sheitus. Meanwhile...

Aiyu: Hmm there isn't much firewood here but I'll see what I can make out of these...

  *Rustles*

Aiyu: !! Misaku!

Misaku: Yes Mistress!

  *Rustles*

Aiyu: No way, a scout could never travel this fast!

  Shocked, Aiyu prepares for an attack. Suddenly a rabbit jumped up from the bushes giving a quick chill down her spine. Still calming down she returns to finding more firewood. But within the bushes lies an approaching predator hunting for its meal.

???: RARGHH!!!

Aiyu: AH!

  Pinned to the ground by a unknown creature, Aiyu struggled to get it off. The creature sniffed Aiyu and jumped back quickly.

???: Humans?

Aiyu: ???

???: Sorry! Must chase meal, can't chat!

  The creature then sped off the direction of the rabbit that ran away.

Aiyu: W-what was that? Another person in the forest? Gotta tell this to Shizuka and Millia.

  Aiyu got herself up before heading back to camp to meet up with the two other girls.
