Chapter 3: Together

[ Your POV ]

Park Jimin. His name sounds beautiful, wow. Jimin stood up and proceeded to say the stuff about himself.

•••

"Hi, my name is Park Jimin, I came from Yeoksang Middle School and my hobbies are dancing and playing basketball." He introduced himself to the class finishing off with his cute smile with his eyes barely showing.

"Thank you Mr. Park, you can go back to your seat now." Mr. Gyeon said pointing to his desk. He then made his way back to his desk.

I too was impressed about his hobbies, so I turned to him and said "You play basketball and dance too huh?" He faces with a small smile forming. "Why yes. Yes I do."

"Wow, that's pretty cool actually since I can't do either." We both started laughing but covering our mouths so we wouldn't be so loud.

We stopped laughing once Irene was called up. "Hey guys, my name is Son Irene, I came from Hangang Middle School and I play soccer competitively." She said with a bright smile on her face. Her smiles are always so contagious so she earned a smile from me too.

As soon as everyone finished speaking Mr. Gyeon announced and said "Good job everyone, I learned a little bit about all of you which is good. The next activity will be getting to know each other." he then added "I will be pairing you up from the opposite gender and you will sit together, talk and get to know each other." He earned a second groan from every student once again.

Mr. Gyeon then started calling out boys and girls names while all the students slouched and wore an unimpressed look on their faces.

Irene got paired with a guy named Gyo Seojun, Yoona was with Jeung Jae and luckily I got partnered up with Park Jimin. Yes! I got butterflies once Mr. Gyeon said I was with Park Jimin.

"I guess you're lucky to have me as a partner." Jimin smirked.

"Yeah, sure. You wish buddy." I replied to his comment, rolling my eyes playfully. But honestly, I really was.

"Yah, Min Jee I was just kidding, I think I'm the lucky one here." Jimin said while rubbing the back of his neck and slightly blushing. The bubble gum pink tint of his cheeks were adorable. Just like a lil' strawberry mochi. Awe.

"Haha. I agree." We both giggled. It got awkward for a bit until Jimin broke the silence and asked if we could compare schedules to see what classes we had together.

Turns out we had quite a lot of classes together. We had history, math, cooking and music class together. Hmm, he plays an instrument, I wonder what it could be? That's interesting.

Since I was curious, I asked him what instrument he played. "I play any type of guitar, but mostly the bass guitar. How about you?" he asked. "Uh.. I play the alto saxophone." I replied looking a little shy. "Really? That's so cool!" He exclaimed. Wow, I thought he'd think it was lame. "Thanks." I said to him lightly blushing.

We kept talking about ourselves and we surprisingly have a lot in common. He had quite a bit with Jihyo too. I don't know why but whenever I get excited or butterflies when I'm around Jimin, I quickly sadden a bit knowing Jihyo's feelings. I could see it in her eyes. She likes him. Already?

[ Jimin's POV ]

After a while Mr. Gyeon called up Min Jee.

Please be me, Please be me.

And to my actual surprise, he called me to be her partner. A burst of happiness and excitement went through me. I was so happy she was my partner, meaning I could get to know her more.

"I guess your lucky to have me as your partner." I told her while smirking. But in reality I was the one who felt lucky as hell.

"Yeah, sure. You wish buddy." Buddy? Ouch. That hurt a little. She said that while rolling her eyes with a little giggle.

"Yah, Min Jee, I was just kidding, I think I'm the lucky one here." I told her scratching my neck shyly hoping she didn't see me blush.

"Haha. I agree." She said to me.

It was awkward for a little while but I really wanted to get to know her so I broke the silence. I asked her is we could compare schedules and see what classes we have together. Yet again, I find myself hoping she's in at least one of my classes.

Turns out we had quite a bit of classes together. We had history, math, cooking and music class together. What? She's in music class with me? I wonder what she plays.

Before I could ask her what she played she asked me already. I replied saying "I play any type of guitar but mostly bass guitar. How about you?" I would also sing during music class, but I didn't wanna say anything because I was shy about it.

Once I asked her what she played she looked shy and replied saying "Uh.. I play the alto saxophone." "Really? That's so cool!" I said back to her. And I actually thought it was cool, I mean I totally didn't expect it.

"Thanks." she said. I could see her blush a little, which was so adorable. Does that means she likes me? Aish Jimin, stop seriously. You just met her.

We kept talking to each other about ourselves and we had so much in common which is making me slowly fall for her. This is seriously bad.

Whenever I would make he smile or blush, shortly after she would sadden up. Her eyes would go from brightly glowing to gloomy and dull. I don't what happened? Was I doing something wrong? Why do I even care so much?

[ Your POV ]

First period was over, and honestly I enjoyed it.

We had math second period, and math is surprisingly my favourite subject. "Min Jee-ah we have math together next period!" He said with his classic eye smile which made my heart flutter a little.

A sudden realization went through my head. We have math. With Jimin. And. Jihyo. Jimin and Jihyo. In math. Together. I have math class with Jimin and Jihyo. I don't know whether I should be excited or happy about this. Especially since Math is my favourite subject.

A/N: So sorry for the super short chapter, I'm not happy with this, but I'll make sure the next chapter will be better! Also, I'm sorry if the shifting to different's POV's get confusing, although I like the idea of seeing other people's point of view as well. Nothing interesting really happened, but stay tuned for the next chapter!!
