Jace froze and then stiffened.
"Off my property, Jace." I heard Gary growl.
A petite slut walked out, heading straight for Jace.
"Jace, sweetheart, it's time for your medicine." She purred.
I growled, slapping her.
"Don't touch Jace!" I growled again.
"I'm sorry, miss! My name is Carrie and I am Jace's nurse. Also his stress reliever." Carrie winked at Jace.
Jace growled, pulling me into him. "Not anymore, Carrie." He growled once more.
"But baby!" Carrie whined.
"Buggy is my mate and you are fired!" Jace commanded.
"Gary, Buggy will stay here with me." Jace stated, turning back to Gary.
"No! She's my property!"
"I'm Jace's property. Once you find your mate you'll understand." I backed Jace up.
A little girl who looked 10 walked up to us.
"Mate." Gary growled.
The girl was crushed into a hug with Gary.
"Mate?" The girl asked, her eyes widening.
"Oh my god, I'm mates with an old freak!" The girl whined.
"Hey!" Gary whimpered. "I'm not a freak!"
The girl snorted. "I'm Gaby..." She whispered.
"I'm Gary."
"Let's go sort this out with my father, the beta."
