???'s POV

I walked to my school as I greeted all the people passing by me. I can't keep faking a smile, but I'm doing this for my own reputation. I had been bullied ever since preschool and now I want to change that, and start a new life in high school.

My name is Fukashi Ayami. A 2nd year at my new school, Sukigaoka High.

Ayami's POV

I slung my ocean blue bag over my shoulder as I entered the school with a smile. No one was familiar there, which makes it more easier to make them think I'm just a normal girl living a happy life. But unfortunately, My father is the leader of an infamous gang while my mother works abroad at USA so she could do her business as an owner of a huge company.

I walked inside my new room as I took a seat in the front row, 2nd column. I sat down, thinking about how long I could last still staying sane. I looked around me, only to find more unfamiliar people which I suppose are gonna be my classmates for this school year. I stayed silent as I started sketching on my sketchbook, my pencil stroking against the paper. A boy, blue eyes just like mine, blonde hair shining from the sunlight and had a necklace which had a cool cross pendant, sat beside me. "Hello there. I'm looking forward to this school year with you!" He said, a warm smile plastered on his face. I returned the smile, trying the best I can to make it look real. "Same here."

I looked at his still smiling face, My heart racing a bit as a few memories of a boy I used to be friends with when I was young started entering my empty mind.

"My name'a Kaoru Rin. What may be your name?" He asked, waiting for my response. "I'm Fukashi Ayami." I responded, another smile on my face. "Nice to meet you, Fukashi-chan!" "Nice to meet you too, Rin-kun." I chuckled slightly.

'That name seems familiar. Have I met him before..?' I thought to myself, denying I had ever met him. 'He just really reminds me of him. Could he..?'

I shook my head as I hear the school bell ring, The teacher entering our classroom as all the students settled in their seats. "Good morning everyone, I'm Miss Fudo and I'll be your homeroom teacher as of this school year. I look forward to spending my year with you all." The teacher says, A warm smile on plastered on her face as her brown eyes met mine, then everyone elses.

Hope nothing goes bad in this school. Unlike last year, I was practically the school victim of bullying. I really wanted to kill myself back then, but my stupid conscience stopped me. And I might actually have something to live for now, most likely just trying to know more about this boy I had met. Oh well.

~ Time Skip ~

I entered my room sighing, I plopped on my bed as my heavy eyes began to close, making me think, "This boy.. I need to know more about him.. He made my heart race. A feeling I had only felt ever since I last layed my eyes to my childhood friend. Could he be the one?"
